Hey, this is Anna from Poland. I was literally dying laughing at your reaction 🤣 Now I can peacefully go back to watching the others 😂 The number of photos was a loophole, good thing the restrictions were only on the video 😎 Don't learn from your mistakes, because in the next part I'll only manage to say “hi” 😆 The invitation to Spain is open, take AJ with you, we will blow the system 🚀 P.S I mentioned that Queen Anthurium is suffering. Now there is one last leaf left. Evidently it takes the competition badly and two queens in the same house is just too much 😂😂 Greetings to all the wonderful gardeners-collectors here💚

Hi Jan, thanks for showing my part! And thanks for the compliments, I have really tried to put in the effort and it has definitely paid off. The one that you liked was indeed the serpens x verrucosum / titanium. That is about one year of growth and has grown bigger than a lot of my other plants in that time. Edit: also the black one that you liked is Philodendron Black Majesty

Hello from Greece! Thanks for including my video and for all the advice. I need to seriously consider what you said as my plants are growing bigger really fast. Although those bio-based poles look great and come with connectors for extension, they do lack the propagation benefit. Thank you again for the eye-opening observation 🙏 all the best to you, your plants and Bradley 💚🌿

Thanks for submitting :) I mean, you can always propagate after the cut & so on :) not a big issue, you're just losing some progress :) as long as it's fun & brings you joy, there's nothing wrong here :)

I should really submit some pictures / videos of my plant room! I live in Northern Canada (I'm talking a few weeks of -40°C/F every year) and I keep hundreds of tropical plants. You inspired me to get into moss poles and share / teach the planty people in my community about them. It's definitely harder to keep plants up here - in the middle of winter, we get down to ~5-6 hours of light per day, but my goal is to inspire people living in the north. You absolutely can get into plants and have them thrive up here too 💚 Sometimes you need a little jungle to help get you through the winter 😂

I have mixed Green and Red Oxalis and they are Beautiful. I keep them in Planters on my front porch. I get some many compliments from them! The Porch is North Facing and they just flourish during the summers here in Northern Utah. We take them in when the nights start to get cold. I’ve had them for 4-5 years . Once I finally learned the go dormant and aren’t just dead! These 2 never go quite dormant. They definitely are not as full as normal , but a little nutrition and a little water keeps them happy and blooming most of the year. They are one of my favorite plants! Thanks for this great tour and everyone’s amazing plant!

Thanks for another fantastic video! I just wanted to comment on your dialogue about Alocasias. I use your chucky mix recipe on my 24 alocasias and they absolutely love it. My two keys to success have been 1. very consistent high humidity, the room there in is stablized at 80% year round. 2. I used a high-quality hydroponic fertilizer used for growing Marijuana with every watering. This is a game changer. Alocasias are very very heavy feeders and require alot of nutrients to hold on to all their growth. With those two things, I even get away with letting them run dry and they dont get fussy. My zebrina went from a baby starter to 24in leaves in one year and regal shield has some 30in leaves. Also, as a bonus tip, about 70% of alocasia species can be acclimated over time to full sun indoors and will grow much quick and bigger in those light conditions. I hope I can submit my collection for your next video to share them with you. Cheers from Colorado USA

Hey Jan, thanks for the video. The plant at 2:05:57 is a Musa Florida banana tree. I've been looking for one for a few years now but the price in Europe was really too high. €60 for a very small TC and +100 for a 15-20 cm one. The prices have finally been halved but I'll wait until next spring to buy it. Looking forward to seeing you in a future video

🍉🍉🍉 Hi Jan! I'm Fizzy from Singapore. I've sent some photos too, maybe it got lost somewhere :) My vid starts at 27:40 ish. Have been following up and learning from your videos about plants. I wanted to share with you that i did a DIY coco coir pole using an 8 inches PVC pipe as it's base and wrapped the coco coir fibre all around it. Mimicking a tree bark. It's specially for my Philodendron Paraiso Verde. I have 2 of them together in one massive square cement pot. I'm using soilless mix which are chunky aroids mixes consists of pine barks, pumice, charcoal and big size perlite. Now my babies are thriving well with humidifier on for about 8 hours everyday and liquid fertilizing every 2 weeks once. I think it's gonna flower soon! For the lights im using 24V and 32V full spectrum Sansi grow lights. It's abit pricey but it's super worth it! I'm gonna start moss poles for all of my other climbers such as my epineurium pinnatum variegata and pothos. Thank you for sharing all of your knowledge. Now I'm ready to DIY my own moss poles!

With SILICA, you want to add it to your water first then wait 15+ minutes before adding other nutrients or something will happen where it makes all nutrients unavailable (I don’t remember the exact process). Unfortunately, some of the bottles I’ve purchased don’t explain this while others do 🙃

1:26:05: just my 2 cents on Alocasias: my experience with semi hydro was dissappointing... watched a lot of experienced growers before, to make sure I do everything right in transitioning, but all of my Alocasias turned to mush 😢 I had a hard time recovering some of them from the smallest stem bits and corms I could save. Still not sure, what went wrong... maybe I used the wrong fertilizer 🤔 can someone confirm? Now I have all of them back in a fine, moist aroid mix and they seem to like it... never change a running system I guess 😅 Fingers crossed, that they keep on thriving through German autumn and winter! It would be very interesting to watch you doing some experimenting with different growing mediums ❤

I try Silica 😅 you have studies about this, but on some plant this can be not effective 🤷‍♀️ I try, I see no difference on my variegated plants. You need to adjust the pH at 6 to made the product effective and this add potassium to the plants. I use distilled water, the lower dosage of GT Silica and lower dosage of GT Foliage focus and the result after 3-4 month is terrible 😅 This destroye many leaves on 3 calathea 🫠 exces of salt, big brown/grey part, on one plant this made holes on the leaves 😓 GT Foliage focus at 3ml and summer at 5ml by liter NEVER burn the leaves of any plants. I am not convinced by the Silica 😆 my variegated plant have better result with a lot of light. Very nice video 💛🇨🇦 I live this like of video!
