The fact that Bob nor his wife have ever heard “Work” or “Needed me” just makes me realize how different each of our existences are…. Also its cool to see a a wife/husband dynamic on the channel. She should come back from time to time!

I'm glad you came to that conclusion because usually people end up accusing the reactors of lying. There was a video I watched recently of a guy hearing Nirvana's Bloom for the first time and several people just couldn't fathom that someone hadn't heard the song. It's absurd! 😂

Other artists write all her songs for her, the melodies, the hook, the ideas, the verses. They send her a full complete track mixed fully mastered and she recites an already created song. The songs you’re hearing and you like are 100% made by people like saint jhn, ronron, the dream, the weeknd and other songwriters. She is just doing karaoke of songs that already exist. Attractive girl? Yes, decent voice? Yes. Nice personality? Yes. Talented? No. Those are the producers and songwriters who make a completed song and send it to her to copy.

I think watching her ‘ANTI DIARY’ series on KZbin will help to explain the album. Also reading the poem which is in braille on the album. The album is obviously about love but also her relationship with the music industry, keep in mind she hasn’t released an album since ANTI. You’re both also correct with the title relating to her being ANTI everything. Her goal for this album was to go against everything everyone expected from her and do things in her own way without the label pushing her in a direction. In 2015 she said she found herself not wanting to perform her songs anymore because they just felt like big hits she no longer connected to, her aim for ANTI was to make more “timeless” music.

The person who beat her back and blue on Love In The Brain is named Chris Brown, her ex. He is also a huge artist who has been featured in some albums you reacted, Waves by Kanye on The Life of Pablo, Superhero on Metro Boomin’s album for example. Long story short they were a huge teen couple back in the late 2000s and on a grammy night in 2009 he beat the shit out of her in a car and was arrested. No jail time, 5 years Probation/community service. It was a huge story back then. They got back together years later in 2012 and made a couple of songs together and thats the last we heard about them together. She said she forgave him on Oprah. He is still a big artist, idk how he hasnt been cancelled yet and the craziest part is, the Rihanna domestic abuse isnt even all of it, he’s a repeat offender. He still puts out hits, has 50 Million monthly listeners on Spotify, the whole industry pretty much turned a blind eye to it and so many massive artiss collabed with him since then. He still gets radio and industry support and seems like the overall majority have forgiven him? Idk how man but hey thats the world we live in.

I would like to see an example of him abusing another woman after rihanna. The reason most people do not care is because people change and evolve and when that incident happened, he was extremely young and immature. It doesnt justify what happens but are we as a society going to condemn someone for life over a mistake that happened over a decade ago even after that person has changed? Why are we willing to look over repeat wife beaters like john lennon and other artists but chris brown is where we draw the line? I think anyone who still hates on him deacdes later are the reall immature ones, thats my opinion.

The deluxe is meant to be that way lol, just a couple fun songs she liked. She released couple hits before the album was released that could have easily went on the deluxe but it's the reason behind it all. its just bonus

I think its almost irrelevant. Watching interviews of her she really doesn't look back upon her music career that fondly. A lot of personal stuff going on, and that personal stuff really messed her up for a while during the making of this album. And she almost resents her real early career and the music she made. I think she would be fine without Fenty or music at this point. And wouldn't at all be shocked if we never get another Rihanna album. I could see her feature here and there like an Andre 3000, but her heart doesn't seem interested in making music at all, for personal reasons.

Bob The Poppop can you react to Big K.R.I.T. "Krit Wuz Here" his catalog is heavily slept on but he's an amazing Southern Hip Hop artist.

Same Ol’ Mistakes is for the anxious/mentally ill girlies who are used to fielding multiple thoughts all at once 🫡🤪 When I first heard the song, it reminded me of the back and forth that happens mentally and emotionally when I’m meant to make any decision ever where there’s feelings involved. I think listening closely to the change in tone, key and inflection is very important to understanding the “switch” between perspectives (Rihanna’s desires vs her rational self) in the song. Each part literally *sounds* different, and her emotional self is trying to drown out the rational thought by being sonically louder! You also can think of the two “voices” as separate entities having a conversation. Rihanna “feels like a brand new person” and the OLD her is warning her away from making the “same old mistakes”. There aren’t”two girls”, there is one person who is transforming into a new person with this love she thinks is so perfect, and her old (rational) self reminding her that she’s been down this road before. So when finally, we hear her become fed up and argue directly “Stop thinking you’re (rational thoughts) the only option!” we see her pull away from the idealism of the moment, of trying to argue that being “in love” and careless is good enough. She doesn’t want to be that person anymore, who lives with regrets and instead wants to embrace her demons (being naive, being careless) and dive right into the new relationship.

I just got into your channel and I was wondering if you would ever do any more MF Doom reactions? Czarface meets Metalface is my second favorite doom album and it’s my favorite collab album ever.

Never listened to this album before and likely have only heard Work, but that remains to be seen. The music on Consideration kinda reminds me of 5 Years by Björk.
