i think the reason ateez don't seem like rookies, is that they're incredibly confident in themselves and their abilities. when new groups debut you often see them being very emotional, overwhelmed to the point of tears, like this heavy weight has been lifted off their shoulders after training, they also seem uncertain in their success and understandably so, but ateez did none of that; maybe on a deeper personal level they have their doubts but they have not EVER shown it, instead they prepared, came, saw and are conquering & they will only be moving up and forward from this point, maRK my words y'all

Interesting fact they actually they compose and produce their own lyrics/songs was said by hongjoong because he’s one of the members that writes most lyrics for the group songs (all of them do help out by discussing ideas with inputs on who does what in the song & choreography.....similar to Stray Kids who’s rapline is responsible for all of their own music & choreography!
