They release 2-4 songs on the debut year, then they STARVE the fans for a year, and release a new hit, and then they STRAVE us again, and then they release a hit again... Thats exactly what caused DDU DU DDU DU to BLOW UP, the fans were starved, so when it was released it blew up. YG do that on purpose. Granted, it causes the artist to have a little amount of songs, but they become a superstar. Thats just YG's method. And weirdly, it works. Because since there is little songs, the demand goes up, so if we are starved, the next hit blows up. YG's method is untraditional, but it works.

YGE is waiting for Chikita to turn 14 (her birthday is now in the beginning of February), so in that way she'll be no different from NewJean's Hyein and Ive's Leeseo when they debuted. Also, Haeun from Lapillus debuted at 13yo. The agencies nowadays are looking for Idols who can last a long period, we're talking 10+ years in the industry. Also, lemme just tell you that BABYMONSTER is going to DOMINATE the industry.

Babymonster really define what they are. Baby = maybe their age that still young Monster = monster with their skill, emotion and vocal. They really have what i want in this 4th gen. I dont want to judge them by their age but i want to see what they have to show us. As for now, they really make me amazed with their vocal and talent 😭👏

@@yanzkie2781 I'm sure at age 13 you have a dream of what you are going into... but no clue what it is really like when100 millions of people loving you. Maybe 10 of thousands hating you. It's not for everybody so i hope they can handle it. I know YG will do there best to build an iron wall around them and the BP girls will coach them on how to handle things... But the tsunami of emotions coming there way can be a bad thing in such a young age. Can also be good. If they keep going, the reward will be enormous. I wish the best for them :)

It can go both ways. Some idols who debut at a young age (Even child stars) flourish and develop their talents and individualities within the industry and will continued to be love. While the others make fame, media, and popularity get into their head. They may feel pressured by the company, or the media or even fans as well. Some can’t control to look at the comments either. I’m pretty sure YG will handle this group very well, especially most of them are minors. YG handled treasure very well and continues to do so even Minzy when she debuted at 14. I just don’t like how the members are already sexualized and degraded pre debut by people, it makes me sick but there’s nothing we can do about it. I know these girls also went through harsh training so they know what it’s like. Rooting for them.

since the launch of IVE and KEP1ER we have an incredibly qualitative GG promotion IVE, KEP1ER, LESSERAFIM, NMIXX, NEW JEANS, CLASSY, all these groups even if they are not all popular or they are not all the same success are very good bands. BABY MONSTER will further accentuate the competition of this generation. for the moment on paper BABY MONSTER looks incredible. The only fear that seems to be on the horizon is the very young age of the members, younger than new jeans. it will be very difficult to promote this group because of all the restrictions due to their age. they will also surely suffer from many criticisms like IU, SOMI, WONYOUNG and all the idols who started very young. given the reputation of YG in their management of their GG I have a little fear for the girls I hope that YG is close and that they know where they are going.

The dance video reminds me of the blackpink one, it was probably during an evaluation session. blackpink never danced like that again.
