Bambie Thug is giving me Maleficent Realness. And I love how they captured the _essence_ of their music video on stage without trying to just duplicate it. Bambie conjures up their monster-boyfriend, just like in their music video, but unlike the music video, they dispell and banish the monster-boyfriend at the end. And let's talk the use of lighting to completely change what Bambie and monster-boyfriend look like as the music changed genres. Perfection!

It was a very nice piece of performance art, technical skill in terms of special effects, stagecraft and a lot of costuming and make up. The way the song moves around is interesting musically but when you really isolate out the voice, she/they is not anywhere near being a great vocal talent. The setting doesn't interest me, the song doesn't do it for me either. If I heard it on the radio I would change the channel. It's not a song I would enjoy listening to. It reminds me a lot of Björk and I didn't like her style. There are those who like it. You can't argue about taste.
