Thank you for checking out my guide! It is quite funny actually, I don't know if I could have put together as good a raid team of my own if I also didn't already have a following that I could pick from, so that is certainly an advantage! For the 4:25 bit about the Ultimate: I actually just showed that footage because it was the only footage i happened to have where I unlock a thing from the wandering Minstrel! But there is actually a fun fact here too! I am not sure when, as apparently TEA says "Now Accessible" too, but apparently, some of the first ultimates said "Ballad Composed" instead underneath the duty name itself when unlocked! UWU is a particular example of that! But yeah no it was not a flex, we have barely tried that ultimate specifically 😆 Good luck with your journey through savage!

How I got into current savage raiding: Step 1: Be completely and utterly burned out from endwalker mount farming in PF (when it was current) Step 2: completely swear off from doing any hard content in partyfinder again Step 3: Dawntrail releases Step 4: Watch a clear video of valigarmanda extreme Step 5: See the fire phase tankbuster towers, the coolest thing ever added to the game (I'm a Tank Main) Step 6: Start doing the current extremes and farm their mounts Step 7-15: ???????? (I genuinly forgor. it's just a blur) Step 16: Be on week 4 of reclearing the current Ultimate (all progged in PF) and help guildmates clear it, wondering how I got here.

I actually got burned very badly with Endwalker Savage Raiding in Pf because P1s had People being complete idiots for the easiest Stuff and I was so off with it, I made an reclear Group for p2s after watching 1 Guide and having no experience made... I pulled it off flawless and got my clear(I'm an BLM Main btw). Later in P10s I had enough with People's stupudity and quite PF Savage Raiding

20:40 you are right, you want damage, the problem is that healers damage doesn't scale with intelligence, but with mind. Intelligence is the damage stat for casters and mind is the damage (and healing) stat for healers. It is a bit confusing cause in most games intelligence just means more damage for everything that looks magic. But please don't use that mind pot for more potent healing, try to use it when big group buffs are coming, like in the opener.

you know mentor is kinda memed into someone who can't play the game and such? caetsu is what a true mentor supposed to be. how you min max character, rotation, etc. BUT his explanation is concise and easy to understand even for a sprout. his chatroom is like a big classroom where you can learn all about this game. can't recommend him enough.

Taxing was more restrictive back in the day. If someone in your group had cleared all floors before your team had gone in they wouldn't be able to go with you. Course you could also taxi people right up to the boss back when the 8 man raids had trash packs. There were a few turns of Bahamut where some groups would opt to get taxied right to the boss. Turn 7 starts you off with a boring elevator ride that takes too long these days and Turns 10 and 11 had trash or annoying "puzzles" to do that could take up time that your group could spend on learning or reclearing those fights.

Step1 have a good job where you can have weekends off or a set schedule.

Pfer mostly here, both characters. In my case it is two fold. Schedule is not consistent enough, plus I like to go in more often. However, the other big issue is I do not WANT to raid with the same people everytime. I find having different people a benefit for my sanity and I ma less likely to be frustrated with anyone in particular on a bad day.

Forgot to add as for how I got into it. I was current when ShB released. First time ever. I tried to do Kefka near the end of SB, and literally no idea how people didnt hate me then, cause I knew nothing of what I was really doing properly. Similarly, in ShB I tried to properly get into it. I got through E1S, and looking back no idea how people did not get upset with me then either as I did not do EX at all or really properly gear or anything, but stopped on E2S when I was not completely enjoying the fight as much... and never picked it up again as I was demotovated. Only cleared E9S with the FC randomly doing raids and some EX for farming with them, but it kicked me into looking for initial openings to come up with rotation and gearing later on. EW I made a promise to myself I would do it. I took time to try EX and farm the gear for prepaid bis, capping times and looking into substate, and.... cleared all 12 fights on content both my characters. Mostly pure of, though I did fill for statics from time to time. Literally cried, because I did something I set out to do. And now doing it in DT because, it's just fun for me now.
