So I went back to listen to the words and just let it embrace me and my friend, thank you for this recommendation. If you told me this time last year that I would make it until the end of 2020, I wouldn’t have believed you. I was so alone, still going through a heartbreak, just hating every aspect of my life. I’ve recovered from all sorts but I truly felt like this was my time to leave. Who would’ve thought a global pandemic would actually save a life, let alone take so many. And then, I met you, and a beautiful bunch of people across the world alongside building even stronger connections in my personal life. I focused on me for once, and finally I felt free. I wanted to still be here and I finally felt something that wasn’t negative. And boy can I tell you that when people notice that you are glowing and happy, it’s one of the biggest compliments. I also ironically got my collarbone tattooed in October quoting “Alive in spite of me.” and hands down it’s my favourite. Anywho, I’ve rambled enough. Whoever reads this, remember that this isn’t an easy life, but it’s also what you make of it. Take charge and be proud of yourself, and love yourself as hard as you would to others.
