I am HUGELY jealous that you got to go see Fabio Lione and Rhapsody!!! If he would ever get over here to the eastern South Dakota or western Minnesota area of the U.S., I would definitely find SOME way to get a ticket and go to the concert!!! Also, this was (if I'm recalling correctly) either the third or fourth Dan song, after "Amazing Grace" to hit me in the face. I listen to it often...so...onward to the rest of your reaction. 😀 You are NOT wrong in the least, about the atmospheres that Dan's voice (in any given song) always bring out. He studies all of that out SO well, and then just...DOES IT! That's part of his amazing wonderfulness. ⚠‼™✔ I agree with your estimation of this song. It's pretty much exactly the way I feel about it, as well. In fact, for many of us in the U.S. right now, this really should be OUR song! It fits perfectly! 😀 That guitar work by Garrett J. Peters definitely is SO good! I actually didn't even realize that he had done this one, at the time when I heard him do his WONDERFUL stuff for "My Heart Will Go On," but now, even if I hadn't seen Dan's notation on this video when you started playing it, I would have recognized it. SUPERB, for sure!!! I always love so much, how Dan waits so patiently (hmmm) through the guitar riffs, and then you can seeing making that "final countdown" before he SO smoothly and beautifully joins back into the fray. 😇🤗 One of the things that Yáscara Albuquerque (a wonderful Brazilian lady who also loves Dan very much) is always saying, is that Dan "came from the Light, and he carries the Light." This song, I think, is a REALLY great representation of his own heart speaking the same thing. There are so many songs that he sings, that bring the same message: HOPE ... in times when sometimes hope has been a bit hard to find. Your final thoughts on this, hit me the same way. Because of that, I'm going to share something that I've only shared with two people before this. I documented it on 11/14/24 (I always document important dreams). ... "I had a just-waking-up dream at about 5:45 AM on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024. Somehow, some way, we got President Trump to find out about Dan Vasc singing The Star Spangled Banner, and bringing him to the U.S. to sing it at his January 2025 inauguration. In my dream, I saw DJT say it would be so, and then Dan was "dumped" right onto the stage, where he sang his heart out. I laid there for about 15 minutes, trying to think about ways we could make it happen, but Holy Spirit just told me to write it down, so that's what I'm doing." ... There you have it. Since you keep in touch with Dan, do you think you could tell him about it? It would be SO FANTASTIC to see it play out!!! Even if not, though, it would be great if Dan could hear about it. 😀
