I’m surprised you didn’t go with Armani Rouge Malachite - that’s the #1 scent I think of with Demi. BTW - if I lost all my perfumes tomorrow, my first replacement would be Musc Ravageur. I agree, it’s better suited for fall/winter - I understand the holiday vibes - but it dries down the the sexiest vanilla on me and if I spray a sweater or jacket - it’s on there months later. Sexy, sexy, sexy and ultra comforting!

As a teacher that picked up collecting fragrances as a hobby, Demi Rawlings recommendations are only for the rich. She is beautiful inside and out and has awesome presentational skills but I unfollowed her because I can't relate to 90% of what she recommends.

I can relate to financial aspect of it. I did spend more on the fragrances (not her or anyone else's fault) but indeed trying the perfume to see if you like it it's too expensive in itself. Now, if vendors came to my city and I could go and test them out - it would be great to experience.

Also sometimes getting one good quality, unique niche fragrance is better than getting 2 cheaper designers, in my opinion.

Demi has such an impact on the fragrance community I’ve tried so many scents simply off of her enthusiastic descriptions. Blanche Bete is so very lactonic !! Milky and Musky. It immediately turned my stomach. Its definitely giving rice pudding.

I am too guilty of this lol. Demi got online one day and uploaded a quick “affordable” lactonic fragrance that she recommended, and I usually don’t buy many “affordable” fragrances because their not complex enough for me. She talked about the Cacharel “Yes I am” lipstick fragrance, and I went and bought it lol. It is a beautiful scent though and very affordable. I actually like the packaging (lipstick in lipstick tube) but it actually smells really good and yes I do wear it lol. It’s the cheapest fragrance I have, but I do really like it!

As a white floral and creamy hardcore lover I thought Blanche bête was a safe blind buy … I get all those facets but I also get a strong powdery vintage vibe . It’s certainly a beast and the best quality I have smelled in a while but I do not recommend blind buying

I agree. I have it and like it a lot but to me I get lactonic coconut and cacao way more than floral. When I sprayed the other day, my husband walked in the room and said “It smells like sunscreen in here.” So for people expecting a typical “floral” it’s definitely not that.

I loved this!!! Please do more videos like this! I LOVE Demi Rawling's channel and am always drawn towards trying her recommendations, but because they're all so expensive, I haven't invested the time/money into trying them yet, so this video was SUPER helpful for me to know what to try first. Also, I'd recommend you try a wear test of Musc Raveguer, because it was created to be a strong musk aphrodisiac/carnal scent that's supposed to meld with your natural skin chemistry/smell, so it should smell slightly different on paper vs skin (although it is a strong musk, so you may not like it still, but its worth a wear test--especially a light wear (I think it may be better applied as a lighter skin scent versus a stronger perfume).

My reaction was the same with Vibrato. I immediately said “I’ve smelled this before” and it smelled like many mens colognes I’ve smelled in Ulta. A nice cologne for men. I didn’t understand why she was hyping it for women as it’s not really unisex to me.

I used to love Immortal by Bodecia but they discontinued it 🥺🥺. Blue sapphire is a one spray in the air and you walk through it kinda scent. Because the dry down is sooo beautiful

I just blind blanche bete Les because I heard so much hype about it in one of my fragrance swap partners told me about it. You guys made me even more excited to try this. I can't wait till it comes in the mail. I love watching you both. musc ravanger smells completely different on your skin than it does on a paper strip. It turns completely intoxicating and some people is mostly cinnamon and vanilla on others. There's more cardamom and clove on me. It smells like L de Lolita. Intoxicating vanilla a. Boozy, vanilla and cinnamon. It's gorgeous! Try it on your skin

I’ve tried silky woods and Apollonia. They are both nice. For sure I don’t want a full bottle of silky woods. It’s fine but not me. Apollinia to me is maybe a 7. It’s just a powdery iris. I may have to test it more. Or maybe I’m just not that into powdery. I would recommend sampling if you haven’t tried them and are compelled to buy. They are easy to get samples of

I am not much a fan of Silky Woods- it is very similar to Casablanca to me but with a pancake smell I don't want to wear. I need to try Appolonia!! I have 6 Xerjoffs, ready for more! Hey she also hyped Malesia once- I am on my 2nd bottle. It's the BEST OUD !! So sexy. I get amazed compliments when I wear it. For fall/winter..

Fleur Narcotique is the hot weather version of JPG classique essence de parfum and Roberto Cavalli edp. Lighter cousin to LVEB L'eclat. My fave from the list is def Silky woods. Great video guys ! 💟

While I do enjoy Demi's videos to get an idea what's out there at the moment our tastes rarely ever really align. Take Ruby Red by THOO as an example. To me that fragrance was just 'ok'. I didn't find the ginger note in it too great. If I wanted a ginger-heavy fragrance I'd still prefer to go with one of the Twilly iterations by Hermes any time. If it's THOO I would recommend 3 fragrances, that is Dates Delight (a beautiful christmas-y cold weather gourmand), Almond Harmony (also cold weather) and Keep Glazed (a synthetic yet delightful fluffy tropical milkshake gourmand for any weather). It all comes back to the fact that not only can different fragrances work very differently on different skin types (skin chemistries), but that the composition itself also has to vibe with your character, your own vibe.

I’m glad I’m not the only one not raving about vibrato. Nice scent but very masculine to me. I have Musc Ravageur and Blanche Bete. Loveeee them both. && Will your fragrance Siren be coming back? I’m very late to the party but love all things mermaid and need it in my life.

I can’t stand Blanche Bete. I’ve sampled Silky Woods before and i thought it smelled like Roses Vanille or Intense Cafe, but now i want to try it again. I really want to try Apollonia and Ruby Red now that I watched this video!
