This new show takes winners of previous competitive singing shows and makes them both the singers and the judges. 9 singers performing 9 songs from 9 categories. They don't get to choose outside of the "your choice" category. This rendition was for the "Grammy" category. The reason why someone was missing is because that was Diana's spot. Last weekend Diana performed a Cossack folk song. One of Pelageya's staples. If you want subtitles for the lyrics you'll need to watch the uploads on Diana's KZbin channel rather than the HTB uploads. Because it's HTB the algo might still try to get you (since DIana's channel generally doesn't do copyright blocks), so you'll still want to take precautions for the HTB stuff. This coming weekend Diana will be covering a favorite from the 80s. Tanita Tikaram's "Twist In My Sobriety".

I would not be at all surprised if he sang it differently than what may have been originally written ... again .. that is how it is done. That's fine .. whatever.
