I’m starting to like Enhypen a lot more each time Brianna show’s us a video! It’s actually wild seeing how much they’ve grown from i-land to now. Can’t wait to learn more :)
We are Filipino-Canadian sisters who randomly started doing BTS and One Direction reaction videos when I (Chantelle) lost my job during the pandemic. We were only allowed to see one other household as per our government Covid rules so we decided to teach each other about our favourite boybands. We are new fans to each group! After such a great response we decided to expand our reactions because so many of our viewers wanted to teach us more about other groups/artists!

If you want to see them before debut, I suggest watching I-land. It shows how the group was formed on a survival show and you get to see their personalities as well. I watched as it happened and voted every week for my favorites and I’m happy to say my top 7 picks were chosen. Makes me feel like I had a hand in creating the group lol.

Their growth is enormous. 3 members: Jake, Sunoo and Ni-Ki, were trainees for less than a year. Even Heeseung the member with longest trainee period is only trained for like 3 years i believe. And they only had like 45 days to prepare for their debut after iland. It all happened too fast

This song is amazing For a debut song for them. You guys should watch I-Land where to how they have grown since then as well as their personalities. Always watch En-Clock and get to see their personalities as well. They truly show how they are as a person and as a group. Funny and chaotic 😂. They have a new Japanese song called Always. You guys should check that out as well. Heeseung the oldest was asked to guest at Lee Mujin Service ep 16 at KBS Kpop and he covered Justin Bieber Off MyFace song. This show case Heeseung’s vocal. maybe in like 10 years, looking back their debut era could be their awkward phase😁 but we don't feel that way rn cuz we're literally witnessing this right at the moment u know. I became an ARMY around early 2014...when i was experiencing everything with them, nth was awkward and cringy but these years i can't watch American Hustle Life and stuffs anymore cuz it's so cringy. It was fun tho. The journey I was experiencing real-time at that moment is more than precious.

@@rikhmjustsomeguywithmousta4971 not really. they've been doing solo stuffs since predebut. they released solo songs and mixtapes both unofficially and officially in their albums too. it's just that now, this year, they're going official. They're still doing group activities but for the music, this year is for all seven of them but individually as official solo debuts. Which means back then the k-industry has one threat called BTS and now they've seven threats... Cuz even when they didn't do it officially, they broke so many records in many areas individually

You guys comparing Enhypen’s and TXT’s debuts with BTS’ debut 🤣. It’s funny to think about, but truly Enhypen and TXT have all the resources and support that came from the company that BTS built. Can you imagine what BTS’ debut would have been like if they would have had the same level of resources?

oh 100%! We have talked about this before in other videos, we just think it's crazy how generations like TXT or Enhypen never went through an awkward phase, like youngsters (omg can't believe I'm using that word ahahaha) don't go through awkward phases these days. I feel like all millennials have this shared cringe looking back at our teenage years and since we're around the same age as BTS we knew they probably felt the same way esp since they did a reaction to their old stuff and made fun of themselves. We definitely do that to ourselves hahaha. It's not faiirrrr, dang you gen z's, so cool since birth!! hahhahaha

@@ChantelleSistersAndCo But resources also play a big part of it, related to their experience as idols. All the new groups have top choreographers, stylists, access to designer items, etc. The next gen HYBE groups don’t have the living conditions like BTS did. BTS had so few staff that some played extras in MVs like I Need U. They didn’t come to work every day to a building like HYBE has now. Lots of people argue that this is why BTS has the authenticity that they do, but it’s also interesting to think about what they would have been like off the jump if they debuted now. P.S. I’m a Gen Xer and I certainly had a cringy stage!!

But you raise a point I have always thought about too, what would BTS' success be if they debuted these days?! Can you imagine the rap line going into the state of the art studios they have now and being fully in charge of their craft? Also trends in music makes differences too! Everything gets better and more modern as time goes by so no wonder these newer groups look so polished right away
