You saying that we were invested in the characters and losing all of Gen 2 at the same time...that was me with Gen 1. Take It To The Top in S4 was SUCH A GORGEOUS MOMENT and don't get me started on your departure in S5 cuz I thought you and Trev/James were sticking around in S5 cuz you guys had SO MUCH screentime in S4 and Noah's departure at the end of S6 and Michelle's departure in S7 had me BAWLING 😭 Losing Gen 2 was so sad as well cuz obviously some have been around forever, but FOR REAL saying goodbye to characters that I love on TNS IS ALWAYS SO SAD😭❤

That's funny that you say that the show is getting more and more meta because I always thought that Michelle and Emily's tour at the end of Season 7 was inspired by the Brittany and Victoria tour (I could be wrong, but that was the impression I got); in addition to Dancemania = World of Dance obviously. And back when the xmas special came out, Alex B said in the BTS on the TNS YT channel that you guys IRL had xmas reunions as real people...😮

OH MY GOD! Welcome back, Brittany! I’ve missed you so much! Congratulations on the movie by the way. So happy for you and Brennan. I’m excited to see you continuing Season 8! I loved your reactions! This mid season finale of Season 8 is very emotional and bittersweet because it’s such a heartfelt farewell to the second generation of A-Troupe who we’ve had since Season 4, 5 and 6. I feel the same way as you. It’s also the same way I felt with the first generation leaving TNS in Season 4. I even felt that way when Riley left after S4. We’ve gotten so attached to these characters who have developed well which always makes it harder to say goodbye when they grow up. I also like how this episode delved into Richelle’s emotions in terms of feeling alone, not knowing what comes next for her future and how she still needs to learn that not everyone stays on the same path. It’s so relatable even as an adult in terms of not knowing what lies ahead. That ending with Richelle saying “But without them, what I do now?” always stuck with me. I still feel this way in life. I really expected Richelle to have a breakdown after this. I noticed how she was still upset when her team rejected Moxie’s offer in going pro. She’s such an interesting character. Heath being the one to help her see sense makes it even better as it starts his redemption phase after the damage he caused to the team in being the secret mole. Cleo’s future song is great too. I’m so excited to see your reactions to the second half of Season 8 as it now enters a new era with the second generation of A-Troupe leaving and passing the baton to the new A-Troupe. They did such a good job in giving each of the A Troupe members different pathways for their future. This genuinely felt like a season finale. I was so emotional with that last scene with them all together for one last time in the studio.

Woah what a lovely surprise this was! This episode is my favorite of season 8, I love all the arcs coming to close and I still get emotional over it, as I loved this generation of A troupe characters so much (i call a troupe from s4-s8a "second gen A-troupe", though I'm only ever really referring to the A-troupes of s6-s8a as the ones i loved and felt really attached to). Glad your back, and glad you guys got the apartment sorted!

I was thinking, and I just came up with a perfect plot for season 10 TNS for the finale season holds the one and only Ultra Internationals, which is Internationals but much more intense, and obviously, it's held in Miami for nostalgic purposes, duhhh So then now Michelle and Eldon have bought the studio from Nick and need help from the OG TNS to lead the team to victory, and bcos it's held in Miami, we see the OG characters revisting some things from season 3 and ofc the show ends the team winning and in the end we see the Jiley duet that won them the Internationals for the special ending... ✨️✨️✨️
