Love this game. Literally training my team while I watch this. Also don't worry about grinding my dude. The game itself is a long grind. I still don't have max level characters and I've been playing collectively for 6 months. Play it as casually as you want and enjoy it.

jiangshi, you mean. They're pretty much ghost for westerners, the equivalent to the myth surrounding vampires or ghouls. I would say vampire are the equivalent but they can only hop. The seal on their forehead usually stops them from moving, or you throw rice at them, preventing them from moving past it due to some religious reason.

Fun Fact about the anime question: MiHoyo's other really popular game, Honkai Impact 3rd, has an anime! Although Genshin might get one, it probably won't be for a long time. I presume this since Honkai released approximately 4 years ago and the anime is relatively new. Also, I recommend checking out Honkai Impact as well! If not to play the game, their 3D animations are truly amazing (I argue that they are better than genshins, and this is from an unbiased standpoint).

I’ve been playing for about 11 months now and tbh I don’t even have all the available characters, weapons, or artifacts yet. Of my characters, it took 10 months to finally get my first lvl 90 (Venti & I didn’t spend money to get him) but I have yet to get the rest of his things that level. You can get far without focusing on grinding every day and casually level up as you go. Tbh I sometimes wish I didn’t rush some stuff at the beginning like getting past the world level 35. I tell most people you should do a little everyday to really get the most out of the game because there’s so much for so little resin. If you’re trying to catch up and focus on the story and to be able to participate in timed events, you will have to grind some of your world level to a certain point for everything to unlock and then stop so you don’t get overwhelmed. But if you’re just focused on enjoying the world and exploring as you unlock storyline- take your time and don’t worry about grinding because it is a very long grind
