I don't know if I'm onto something, but... it kind've clicked when I was watching your reaction. In "Turn It Up Like" Jonny is seen covered in all white paint, which may just be seen as a random thing they went with during planning, but I can't help but think it might've been tied to 'The Stories We Tell Ourselves' which is the album prior to 'Spirits'. The song 'Turn It Up Like' was the opening song to the album, and again.. Jonny is seen in all white, which the album cover for the prior was a white figure having their eyes covered by a dark figure from behind. Also, in my opinion 'Turn It Up Like' sounds to me like it fits with the style of 'The Stories We Tell Ourselves'. I also can't help notice the entire room is painted in the same shade of red as the lyric videos and cover art for TSWTO. I think this was intentional, but there's obviously no proof! I don't know for sure! But, just food for thought! I thought it was a interesting idea, and if done deliberately is super smart from the band to make the two albums feel copasetic.
