I know exactly what you mean when you say it feels like a goodbye. It's so joyful, but also really nostalgic. From the Into the New World sample in the bridge to the little bits of past choreo (I'm pretty sure I saw Lion Heart and Party...), it really feels like an homage to their entire career. 🥲

I actually felt the same. Like if they bid goodbye (hiatus not disband), atleast they were able to come out with a full album first. It felt like a closure. I'm hoping that it's not but nonetheless I'm vey grateful to them.

in a way, it's a "goodbye" because after this promotion they are going back to their individual activities - we'll still be seeing them bonding together during bdays, annivs, weddings, or just hanging out - but we don't know when will be the next group promotion. so my advice is to enjoy all the promotions of the girls while its here.. let's all show them love because we have been waiting and wishing for this comeback for 5 years. 🥰💗 Happy 15th Anniversary, Soshi! 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗

This song sounds like a grand comeback / goodbye to fans and to being idols. Sampling the ITNW sound, during the red carpet scene they also included a similar scene as The Boys, the striped outfit reminded me also of Gee/Oh, and finally, the dj scene of hyohyeon was like the same scene and vibes as All Night. They wont include all of that if this was just a regular celebratory comeback. It’s also like they’re claiming their award (the heart trophy) which is from sones and now, they’re tryna say thank you for the support but we wanna say goodbye. just remember, we are one

@@AndreaAlison That is what some of us are thinking (including Johan) because they have been at this for fifteen years and they came out with an album with all this greatness on it. Listen to the lyrics of this song in particular; MAYBE we are too paranoid but some of this seems to me like it could be a disguised 'goodbye and thank you for everything'. We are HOPING that is NOT the case, though! We don't want them to disband! It just feels like they might...

@@jamescurfman3284 i dont think thats the case. SM doesn’t disband their idols. even f(x) isn’t officially disbanded despite their inactivity and their impossibility to ever have a comeback. They aren’t even part of the SM universe anymore. With snsd, SM still includes them in their “kwangya” storyline. It’s clear there’s no plan form them to “disband” but rather a “we’re just going to comeback when we feel like it, like maybe 5 years later again” type of deal. It’s like being put on the bench until you’re ready again. I don’t know where this “they’re disbanding” is coming from when this is literally just a celebration to 15 years 😭😭😭 people said this with holiday/all night, yet look where we are.

I've loved them since the beginning and this was something truly special they've given us. The meaning was for us fans, but I feel it was also to each of them. The fact that this most likely is their last album together hurts, but they have given us some incredible years and have been the group to look up to by many in the industry. They really did start it all for me and it's been surreal almost growing up with them. #forever1

As SONE for 12 years (almost half of my life is being SONE haha), I had all the feels watching Forever 1 MV. The song clearly for us SONE. It made me tear up. But also, I can’t help but smile all the way when I watch the MV! We’re graduate from being a clown, SONE! Haha

You could easily be right, it could actually be a goodbye, I kind of feel that too. Obviously, let's hope not! :) IF it is their last, I just want to be on record as stating that these awesome ladies have more than EARNED everybody's respect LONG AGO! Maybe the ladies want to go out on top of the game instead of hanging around too long to where their voices start to degrade (can't be helped, happens to EVERY human, even these goddesses will eventually feel it). So if this is their last album, I totally get it. ALSO if it is their last hurrah, there will be rioting in Korea. You know there will be. There will be DROVES of stans who won't understand.
