If you notice, when its only the8 and Mingyu left there are also two statue left on the table (just like anyone else before, each time someone died one of the statue is also disappeared) and when the lights go off, the8's died and there's only Mingyu and one statue. But then the lights goes off again and the only statue left on the table (which is Mingyu's) is gone BUT Mingyu still there. This scene explained the story line how Park Mingyu watched his dad being tortured as a child, even watched him killed himself and caused Mingyu a mental issues and sleep disorder which later revealed that he has a dual personality; as his father and as himself. At this last scene, where the statue is gone but Mingyu is still there means that him as his father personality (park junki) killed Park Mingyu (his real self) thats why he is creepily smiling while biting the letter lol because its park junki not the innocent park Mingyu, but then the lights goes off again and this time Mingyu is not there anymore the room is empty and this explained that in the end he kills his own self (the park junki inside Mingyu killed himself after killing the real Park Mingyu self). Mingyu developed his father self inside of him due to revenge and trauma he had experienced as a child. This is a mess explanation, i hope you understand what im saying haha and you probably understand the whole storyline but yeahh i just love this episode and story line so much thats whyy im wk excited talking about this 😂 (GoSe PD's is on another level indeed). But anyway thankyou for this ammyyyy!!

When the first episode was released, I was 100% sure it had to be Wonwoo or Jun. Mingyu felt like an obvious choice that's why I didn't suspect him at ALL lmao. Most Carats were wrong too, so you're not alone lol. I'm still surprised by the end result but the story comes together and it makes sense!
