Honestly looking back at it now H5 really nailed the post release content. Tons of content (weapons, vehicles, armors, maps, modes, firefight, forge updates, enemy/boss types for WZ) all in a reasonable time frame of each other and all while still supporting and making content for their big third mode Warzone. Say what you will about reqs but atleast you could earn them through gameplay.

I love this channel, but I'm not the biggest fan of the recent video titles. They're too vague to make me want to click the video - if I knew at least why the update was shocking I would be more interested in the content. And they feel clickbaity, but not in the rewarding/satisfying way. This might just be me but I thought I'd mention it because it's made me lose some interest in clicking on these uploads. The content itself is good. :)

as someone who’s been playing halo for 20ish years. this is the first time i have no desire to come anywhere near the game. i used to actually spend a decent chunk of change on this game. halo infinite disillusioned me from cash shops. you get nothing in return. pay 20 dollars, and you might get one helmet or coating that you’ll actually use. you realize, it’s not like you can use more than one of these things at a time, and anything you have sitting in the armory is wasted money. how anyone still justifies buying anything from the cash shop here is beyond me.

See, I understand that f2p games need to make money but the store content had enough in it to be at least a 50-75 tier pass which was originally what they were going to do. They also stated that every pass was not going to go away and was always going to be available. Now they’ve gone “oh these aren’t season” so these don’t count. So they time limit the operations. If you want to keep it, pay $5 or you can pay $20 for the entire pass completed. Most of the operations are filler content like emblems and challenge swaps anyway. Sure 1 full set of armor but it’s not good. But oh you can go to the shop and pay $38 for a bundle of 3 armor sets with coatings which is a better deal than 1 crappy armor set with filler for $20. Oh then there’s 3-4 other $20 armor sets too that aren’t included but you have to pay for those separately. I’d rather pay for a $60 pass that I can keep and have some sense of achievement than deal with this crap. Welcome to CU29, Controversial Update 29 of Halo Infinite.

Majority of the helmets etc are ugly as hell. 343 being happy bringing out game modes that have been out for yrs like forge, infection and firefight and took to 2-3 yrs for all three of them. U have to pay for colours etc. no playable elites. The game feels more competitive like a bit like halo 5 but less I guess. We need more vehicles that enable people to work together and the vehicles need to actually get a chance to actually play out in the game because every time I play infinite the vehicles get annihilated by the skewer or the gravity hammer which might as well kill u of the opposite side of the ma- since its blast range is crazy. We need challenges again for people to unlock stuff like halo 3 when everyone tried to get recon armour

I just want to state that this is an update, not a season. Everyone has expectations for it like it is one when it isn't. Personally, if this is what they crammed into a single update then I cant wait for the future. Also, the shop prices are a big topic nowadays, I have an explanation. They are trying to fund their next project and Halo Infinite is basically the only way to do that. So cue the horrid shop prices, but in my eyes its worth it if thats what they ACTUALLY NEED.
