taraweeh is a prayer, like when Muslims open roza so they open it at the time of maghrib prayer so taraweeh is in which Muslims go to pray after they do aftaari BTW , we don't not ever have to miss taraweeh I mean that when it is time for maghrib prayer so we don't pray but we do aftaar then pray and the prayer after iftaar is taraweeh.

Basically , reason to avoid taraweh are ; 1-Its like doing yoga for 45 minutes to an hour straight. As you bow on your back then on knees then sit and then get up. 2- You have to recite/read and listen the whole time (usually in summers) 3- Its after you have fasted for several hours. So you lost all the energy.
