Pashto song. Dance form is Atan. Harkalay means welcome. Boys with Henna on hands. Its a cultural thing. They put Henna (mehndi) on palm. And just close it. The henna made different shape for each person. It looks so cute

The purpose of this song is that regardless of language barriers you can still fall in love and express your emotions through words with your own language even when the other person may not understand. So, in other words, sometimes it is not exactly what you say but how you say it with the emotions you feel. More than 2/3 of what we as humans say is not conveyed verbally anyway. In the eastern side of Pakistan, Punjabi, Sindhi, Saraiki, Hindko etc. are Indo-Aryan family of languages, while the western side has Balochi, Pushtu etc. which are of Indo-Persian descent. There are 70+ languages spoken in Pakistan but major ones (with 10M+ speakers) are Balochi, Punjabi, Pushto and Sindhi. and of course the national language Urdu is also Indo-Aryan. Without learning specific language (aka the hard work; which I'm very bad at 😁), one can venture a few guesses about the context of conversation depending on one's familiarity with any language belonging to its pedigree.
