Home Free's interpretation for their videos for the vast array of genre they perform is sensational and very entertaining. They have videos that are serious and sincere to funny and hilarious and often catch us the audience discerning that a great amount of thought went into producing to enhance the message in the delivery. They bring an emotional aspect that is fresh and thought provoking each time. They are very intentional and deliver with excellence. They simply don't put out junk, they bring it with a very high end and are very deliberate with their message of their productions❣ Home Free brings a worshipful respect to their gospel music that is very reverentful and exudes honor the song is intended for. They are very intentional in this regard and it is not about them. Everytime I hear them sing a gospel related song, I feel like I was just in church and am worshiping right along side them. 💫🌠🌌🔥 Nice reaction Maddy!!!🎯

All the very high notes are Adam Rupp and his marvelous Alto voice. This is a rare treat to hear him, he sings so seldom in their performances. Drink in the wonderfulness that is home free and revel in the joy Adam brings to the performance.

They are so versatile. This is a beautiful hymn that I know from my church. It’s not necessarily Christmas music but it’s a beautiful season to sing it in. They filmed this in the Austrian Alps when they were touring there. Loved seeing Adam (beatboxer) sing some verses (“it is well”). They sing all genres of music and don’t mind being silly and well as solemn. Good one Maddie!

During a concert, the venue got rained out by a storm, so a lot of people gathered under an overhand or covered area, and HF sang this, totally bare and raw, no mics....or anything....and it was beautiful.

Oh goddess, yes! I highly recommend that. Look for Home Free Kearny, MO 6.17.2017 How Great Thou Art. Their were several people in the crowd recording that, from various angles and distances so you'll find several videos for that one song. I've found about 10 and each one is beautiful and goes right to my heart.

I think this is one of the best versions of this song. Tim Foust's bass really carries the song. I found Home Free 3 years ago & love these 5 talented guys. Their harmonies are the best in the business. This is one of the few songs where you get to hear Adam Rupp's (beatboxer) sweet tenor voice during "It Is Well". And the scenery is awesome filmed in the beautiful Austrian Alps (my dad came from that area).

I love old gospel music! Harmonies were out of this world back then! With Dad squatting over the floor furnace on Sunday morning to take the chill off watching and listening to Quartets on TV singing Gospel songs back in the early 60's. Love it!

I'd also like to recommend Home Free From the Vault episode 8. They have a camera behind the main cameraman showing us things that didn't make it to the video you're watching. The guys crazy antics, them going up to the site and figuring out his to pronounce the area. The From the Vault video are so fun and informative to watch.

I don't know if anyone else has suggested this or not, but a good bookend for this traditional hymn is Amazing Grace (Peter Hollens feat. Home Free). They have tremendous range to do any genre, from hymns to country, to R&B, pop, and goofing off. But no matter what they do, they put in all of their hearts. Also, give Everybody Walkin' This Land, Brothers in Arms, and One Voice Was Heard a try. I'll stop now...

I wish Adam Rupp was featured more with his beautiful voice, no beatboxing, no effects, just total reverence for Almighty God. It Is Well is my favorite Hymn. Not to burst your bubble, but Tim has left his CofC upbringing well behind him. I believe he calls himself an agnostic not an atheist. I know Austin believes God has a role in his life, but I have no idea how religious any of the others are at this point in their lives. But regardless of their beliefs, they can provide a wonderful presentation of this song, which touches even the non-religious in the audience. And they do it without any grandstanding. Butts may not be your cup of tea, but you have to admit they did it well.

They really don't follow a Christian lifestyle that much. I think Austin does, but Tim does not. The other three I don't know about, but they remain respectful of Christianity regardless, I think because of their fan base. They have several religious songs that they do an amazing job of.
