They were roommates for a long time of 3.5 years so they grew attached. I once had a couple roommates where we do weird things for no reasons and we even put aside personal habits to compromised and love each other eventually all our needs and wants mostly met. Jimin did not join bighit until January 2, 2013 and only have six month as trainee until debut on June 13, 2013.

@@cmoneman3025 correct JHope picked Jimin up at the bus stop but for 6 months they do not talk and Jimin said he slept on the floor in the living under the table with Jungkook because he usually up until 4am practicing only slept for 2.5 hours then to school. If you said first dorm as roommates with other 6 and sometimes 8 is true. I am only talk about when just JHope and Jimin they were roomates for 2 years in second dorm and 1.5 years in the new dorm. In 2018 JHope bought the first home where he moved in with his family and only at the dorm occasionally. That was when JK became subunit with Jungkook and Jimin asked Jungkook in 2020 video I believe how he likes their subunit where JK teased him said it is time to shake it up a little. Then when they did interview between 7 of them Jin was an MC, Jimin said thing that make him happy the most these days was to see JK's face first thing in the morning. V, Suga, and RM booing him and he said it is okay then sent them an air kiss. You can see these content right on youtube and bangtantv bangtan bomb.
