This MV and lyrics are packed with a lot of interesting references and meaning. In the lyrics she uses "delicate Shim Cheongie" ...referring to an old korean tale. Shim Cheong (a filial daughter) was sold as a virginal sacrificial offering to the sea, in this way her blind father could make the temple donation needed to miraculously restore his sight. With the help of the Dragon King of the sea, she returned to the land and eventually became a queen. So Shim Chung is sacrificing yourself for the benefits or happiness of others, it means a great love without boundary. In the beginning of the mv she's reading 'Animal Farm' by George Orwell which is all about the constraints of society and following the rules…she tosses it aside. Her wrapped up in the plastic bag, coming out of a wardrobe crying, walking and dancing with confidence on a table and no one is paying attention to her while when she has a lighter skin tone and cuter hairstyle boys are at her feet...all is a clear reference to how women are treated in korean society. Wheein cameo...if you consider the lyrics of this song and Wheein solo 'Easy' it's like watching the opposite sides of the same coin. Plus Wheein is Hwasa source of strenght and comfort, you can see her leaning on Wheein and Wheein embracing Hwasa. Their makeup is natural and they're almost nacked because they can be themselves with each other. In the all black scene where you can see her and the legs of a man; it's like she abused of his love so much that in the end killed that feeling and when she understood what she did to him she tried to take the boy back but in the end he leaves her. Many people pointed out those blatantly fake birds...I mean, they could use CG like the leopard in Egotistic MV but I think they did it on purpose. A bare tree with fake/dead birds. Everything is white, birds, dress and background, so lonely. In Korea and the Middle East it is the norm that white symbolizes time of mourning and funerals. It is an interesting predicament that theorists find white relays the message of clarity. It could be thought that once someone has passed away there may be clarity in the peoples’ lives, or lack there of. And right after compare the black scene...so going back to the theory of the mourning and understanding (clarity) what she lost. What I love is that there are people/MooMoos that are/was actually surprised that Whee In would have a cameo in Hwa Sa's solo. I wasn't surprised because Hwa Sa had a cameo for Whee In's "Easy" MV. Though, I do love the behind the scenes video that RBW released showing what went on behind the scenes during filming, including Whee In having fun between the tall Hand Statue behind a serious Hwa Sa. Especially how Hwa Sa broke out in laughter when she realized what Whee In was doing behind her back.

she is a QUUEN, the song its a bop. the song is about how he idealizes her, he is completely devoted to her, he gives everything for her, and that gives her guilt, that stifles her, she says that he is a fool for just knowing her ( he is a fool for only knowing the existence of her, she is the center of his universe). While "twit" is a UK/European insult, in this instance it essentially means "Idiot". At first it is the guy that is the "twit" [idiot] for devoting all of his time & energy 24/7 worshiping Hwa Sa's "Character". But in the end, Hwa Sa's "Character" was the "twit" [idiot] for not realizing that she [character] has feelings for the male lead in time, because when she does realize it, it's too late & he rebuffs her. According to Hwa Sa, this isn't about her or any past relationship*, but that it applies to every lover. * = Not sure how long ago, Hwa Sa loved a office worker (don't know if he worked at RBW or somewhere else) & she would constantly try to get with him with him saying no & stuff (turns out that he hadn't had that many relationships to begin with, so he was relatively inexperienced like Hwa Sa was).
