The story of this one is about Swiftpaw, and how unfair favoritism in his clan prompts him to "prove himself" to his leader by hunting down the dogs that's been trespassing on their territory. He does this with his best friend, Brightpaw. His attempt to show his leader how wrong she is about him and his friends ends up killing him. His best friend, Brightpaw survives, but is heavily disfigured and further ridiculed against by the leader of the clan. His mentor, Longtail, taught him a trick to throw enemies off him by kicking his hind legs. He tries to use this trick against the dogs, but they're too big and heavy, and he dies.

I wouldn't call it "favoritism"... Bluestar's mind was F-d up after what Tigerclaw did, and she trusted only three cats of the whole clan, if I remember correctly

Another great reaction! :D So, story time. This is the same cat from the “In the end” video. The black-and-white cat (Swiftpaw) is being trained to be a warrior by the cat with the blue eyes and long tail (Longtail). Longtail was friends with the brown tabby with the scar on his nose, but then the brown tabby tried to murder the Clan’s leader so he could take her place, and the leader (the gray cat with blue eyes and scarred shoulder) became paranoid as a result. She refused to make Swiftpaw a warrior because she thought his mentor Longtail was still loyal to Tigerclaw (he wasn’t). None of the other young cats were being made warriors either, and they were all mad about it. Swiftpaw came up with the idea to prove themselves worthy by finding out the mysterious animal that kept stealing their prey. Only the ginger-and-white cat (Brightpaw) agreed to his plan, so they set out together - you know the rest. Swiftpaw was killed by the dogs, having never been a warrior. Brightpaw survived her injuries, became a warrior, fell in love, had kits, and is still alive in the books today, peacefully retired to the elder’s den beside her mate.

So, for context, this map is about Swiftpaw (black and white cat). He loved during Bluestar’s leadership (blue cat), and at some point she made him an apprentice, so he started training with his mentor Longtail (light brown cat with dar stripes) Now, at the time, the deputy Tigerclaw (brown stripes cat) planned to kill Bluestar to be able to take her place as leader. As he was already second-in-command. However, his plan failed, and he was outcasted. This caused Bluestar to quite literally go crazy. She stopped trusting anyone besides her nephew Whitestorm, whom i don’t think was often shown in this map, her new deputy Fireheart (orange cat) and Fireheart’s nephew Cloudpaw (white cat with fluffy ta. He was also the kitten seen in the earlier parts of the map. Cloudpaw was born a housecat, but was offered to Fireheart by his sister to grow up in the forest). Around this time, Tigerclaw managed to become the leader of a different clan, namely ShadowClan. And some escaped dogs also moved into ThunderClan territory. Tigerclaw, now called Tigerstar, decided to use those dogs to destroy ThunderClan, and began to make them more of a threat by leaving prey around for them to eat. At this point, Seiftpaw thought he and some other apprentices were old and skilled enough to become warriors, but Bluestar refused to promote any of them to a title that basically stand for “i’m an adult now”. Some time later, she decided to make Cloudpaw, and only Cloudpaw into a warrior named Cloudtail. The other apprentices became upset, as he was way younger then them, and less skilled. Swiftpaw came with the genius plan to prove to Bluestar he’s worthy of being a warrior by defeating the dogs, none of the other apprentices accepted his ofer, knowing it was too dangerous. Except Brightpaw (orange and white cat). She mostly did it to protect him, and the two presumably loved each other (or at least Brightpaw loved Swiftpaw.) The plan didn’t go as planned however, there were too many dogs for two cats on their own to fight, and they were too strong. Swiftpaw was killed, but Brightpaw survived, with some terrible injuries though. This isn’t in the map but i wanted to say it anyways, Brightpaw would be made a warrior while she was still unconscious bc no one thought she’d survive, and Bluestar named her Lostface out of spite. After Bluestar dies, and Fireheart becomes the new leader Firestar, he renames her Brightheart. Brightheart is still alive in the most recent books, living as an elder, having had kits of her own with Cloudtail.

It’s really sad that Swiftpaw didn’t get to be a warrior, and died trying to prove himself to Bluestar. At least Brightpaw managed to survive. Really emotional, good job Sagutoyas.

AYYYY I forgot today was a tuesday!! Woo!! Pleasant surprise!! Basic summary: the clan leader, Bluestar, began struggling mentally and thought everyone except 1 cat in her clan would betray her so she refused to make swiftpaw and brightpaw (the orange and white cat) warriors. To prove their strength and loyalty they snuck out of camp and tried to fight a pack of dogs that was threatening the clan. Swiftpaw died saving brightpaw's life. Brightpaw was left with half her face gone but actually survived! Bluestar ended up making her a warrior but punished her at the same time by renaming her "lostface." Eventually when bluestar died and another cat took over she was renamed again to Brightheart Highly recommend the warbringers jaina pmv by Louixie!!

Try "Pity Party" by Cherivinca. It tells Ashfur's story rather well. It's a PMV done by only one person, but it's one of my favs as I think it captures the characters really well. It does have a bit of blood to it that's used more in a stylistic way, but blood/fighting/death is almost par for the course in the warrior cats fandom as it's jokingly called "fighting cats" or "murder cats" due to all of the death that happens in the series).

If you like Warriors animations, you might enjoy Wings of fire as well. It’s also a bookseries written by one of the people who worked on Warriors. It has a similar premise as Warriors, but is about Dragons instead. I’d recommend the amv “Final Countdown” or the map “Dollhouse” if you find the time to react to it.

In summary, Swiftpaw is born to Goldenflower (that's the cat who is at the start), and after six moons (months) becomes apprenticed to Longtail.After that he is seen battle training with Longtail, who bond. Fireheart (the orange cat) brought his nephew Cloudkit into the Clan, and Swiftpaw didn't like this. After that, Tigerclaw (A very evil cat) is banished from the Clan, and we see him take a longing glance at Brightpaw (the white and orange apprentice). Then there is a Gathering where it is shown Bluestar (Leader of ThunderClan, blue cat) is going a little crazy. Then Fireheart reports that neither of the apprentices are becoming warriors, and while Brightpaw accepts this, Swiftpaw is angry, knowing he's trained hard for this. Then, on a patrol, they come across Leopardstar, leader of RiverClan. They are outnumbered and Fireheart can't afford sending a warrior to get help. So he tells Swiftpaw to go, and while he resists at first, Swiftpaw goes. The battle is won, and Bluestar makes Cloudpaw (Now Cloudtail) a warrior, but not the other apprentices. Then we see the dogs who have moved into ThunderClan territory, and the cats find a killed rabbit. As Cloudtail is made a warrior, Swiftpaw is seething with rage, and he asks the other apprentices if they want to win glory by helping him find out who was eating their prey. Out of the five, Thornpaw, Ashpaw and Fernpaw refuse, while Brightpaw accepts. They leave together, going to the place where the prey was found, but find a whole pack of dogs, who kill Swiftpaw. Brightpaw runs to his defence and gets wounded with scars that will stay her whole life. When the patrol finds Swiftpaw's body after a tipoff from Fernpaw that the apprentices were in danger, the realise the true threat. And Cloudtail (who loves Brightpaw btw) sees Brightpaw first, with Swiftpaw's spirit curling around, protecting her like he wishes he could have done in life.

Explanation of swift paw since you seemed confused When swift paw was ready to begin training he got assigned to long tail, long tail trained him well, but long tail was quite bitter, and swift paw picked this up, so when a new kit came to the clan (cloud kit/ the white fluffy one) he didn’t like them for being a former kitty pet (house cat) anyways move on, swift paw had a crush on bright paw (the white and orange cat), another time skip, cloud kit is now cloud paw and he’s about to become a warrior, swift paw thinks this is unfair because he’s older, background info: there’s a mysterious beast eating prey, they know where it’s located but too scared to encounter it, swift paw, determined to prove himself asks the other apprentices (warriors in training) to go fight this beast, bright paw, being the supportive friend she is, is the only one to accept, the mysterious beast is a pack of dogs, swift paw dies, and bright paw is severely injured, bright paw grows up to become bright heart and has kids with cloud tail (cloud paw) THE END

Ok. You don't really know what warrior cat is. All these cats, you've been reacting to, are fan made maps made by fans of a chapter book of cats called "Warriors." Or "Warrior Cats". These cats go by a specific "code" that includes a bunch of lore that they live by. This one is about the incident that happened in the 4th book of the 1st series, Rising storm. It's about a cat named Swiftpaw (Black and white one) who died to dogs saving his friend, Brightpaw. (The white and orange female cat.) Brightpaw, as you can see, gets brutally scarred by the dog, but lives. All thanks to Swiftpaw, who sacrificed himself for her. (In my opinion, Brightpaws a little overrated. Without her scars and tough past, you would be nothing to the series.)
