That big Venom statue you saw is actually based on the original Venom death scene from Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 3 which was sadly cut from the film, because it was too dark and disturbing.
@MyNameIsC0baltBlu38 ай бұрын
That's not why it was cut, it was cut due to budget constraints. The footage of the skull prop and poles falling were only ever shot as reference, and it never went beyond that. CGI shots such as the church scene were pivotal to the plot, so that's where they poured a lot of symbiote budget into. The original death, while creepy, dark, and awesome, the death we get in the film serves the revenge plot better.

@MyNameIsC0baltBlu3 it was a big reason why though, since they had the test footage for audiences who reacted horrified by the scene, especially kids. It's the most common explanation for the scene being cut.

Those blank silver cars were made in the weird period a lil after SM3 but before TASM which is why it doesn’t have the 3 branding. So it was made by MGA Entertianment (makers of Bratz). I believe at the time they also had the Shrek license based on the website I remember as a kid. I have these cars btw, came with a booklet that had a bunch of screen caps from the Raimi movies, mainly SM3. The car’s themselves aren’t that special. They weren’t Matchbox or Hot Wheels, just silver cars with spider logos. They WERE made out of metal but that was the only high quality thing about them. Great packaging tho, it folds out to reveal the booklet and the cars. Remember getting them at my local Marshall’s (or AJ Wright att)

I wonder if the music in the second video was to give the video a 2000's vibe, because it sounds like something you would've heard on the radio in 2002.

I also have a big fascination with store displays, food advertising, posters etc. I've been meaning to getting around to making a video showing my collection of them off. It's just hard because they're so big that there's like not enough room to properly show them off haha. But the one you'd be most interested in seeing is my giant Burger King Spider-Man 2 display of Spider-Man on a brick wall. I got it when I was 9 from my local BK when I had my mom ask if we could have it when they were done with it. I got home from school one day and it was waiting for me there. Sadly it's not in the best condition anymore but still really special. A year later they had a similar display of Darth Vader that made breathing sounds from what I remember, unfortunately they were either giving it to someone else already or an employee...but the Spider-Man was definitely my favorite.

Holy shit, I didn't expect you to cover not just one of my videos, but both of them. Spider-Man 3 has been on my mind since day 1, all 6,119 days. I'm glad you love my stuff. It has been slightly upgraded since the short. Yesterday, I gifted my Spider-Man vs Symbiote ooze set to my best friend, but have added the brand new Thunder Toys Alien Host (3rd party 1/6 scale 2007 Venom) and the long lost ooze attack Sandman vs New Goblin with spring back attack sealed in the box. I'm keeping that one under wraps because I bought it out from under someone who was going to buy it. Dick move, I know, but it's Spider-Man 3 AND rare, I just had to. I'm really grateful I was included here. Sure, it's nowhere near the size of some others in this video, but it's about my sheer dedication. I have my Mom to thank for it. While I paid for everything with my own money, it's her I thank for my appreciation.

@creamfresh9 ай бұрын
I assume you mean the web blast attack venom with missiles, so as for that one I have seen it on ebay a couple times but compared to the other figures in the same line I'd say it's not too common. So decently rare I'd say.
@gphsjsh35939 ай бұрын
@@creamfresh Yes that's it . Also I haven't seen people talk about the hasbro superposeable blue version. I'm not talking about the one that came with the gargoyle but the one with a silver web with suction cups . Is it rare ?
@MyNameIsC0baltBlu39 ай бұрын
The web blast attack Venom, yes. It was released in a later wave of the Spider-Man 3 figures. A lot of people don't know, but you can tell if a figure is rare based off its packaging. They all have the same packaging, but the rarer ones have a lighter background. Take the ooze attack sets for example. The first wave of standard figures and ooze sets have a completely blue background, it's a darker shade of light blue while the web design is an even lighter shade of that blue. The later waves have the same exact pattern, but the background is almost white while the blue web stays the same. So the glow in the dark Venom, web blast attack Venom, symbiote mutation ooze Venom, midnight stealth Spider-Man, disk launching sky stick New Goblin with battle damage, and many more are part of the later waves.
@creamfresh9 ай бұрын
Hm honestly don't know of any super posable blue version, I do know of a hasbro figure with suction cups but that isn't venom it's spider-man being taken over by the symbiote. Maybe I'm just not remembering lol.
