❣Jimin has the most amazing background that gives him ability to do everything with the most amazing skills, talent, & athleticism! Since mid-school, Jimin excelled at all kinds of sports, especially soccer, great at basketball, also track & field, even billiards. Jimin, since he was a little boy, had 8 yrs training in various (4), forms of martial arts: Taekwondo (Blackbelt), Hapkido, Kumdo (Korean form of Kendo), & Chinese martial arts! He even uses his abilities, his amazing inner core strength as well as his phenomenal flexibility applying it to his many times, gravity defying dance moves as well! JIMIN has background at young age of 10, first studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition), in hip hop, then started studying & performing contemporary dance, learned some ballet, even traditional Korean dance! Jimin has been able to incorporate all these different dance styles, along with his gravity defying martial arts abilities into his own unique, ever so special dance abilities! Which is also the reason JIMIN has been awarded the prestigious title of Best Kpop Dancer 5 yrs in a row!! Side Note: Apparently when learning Taekwondo, as a little boy, I beleive Jimin said that doing the splits was one of the first thing required to be able to do. He said that he'd put his legs split, up against the wall for quite long, hrs at a time in the beginning..He started at such a young age and trained for 8 yrs various forms of martial arts, even wanting to be the best swordsman in the world, so he took up Kendo after watching the anime 'One Piece' and wanting to be like his fav character Zoro.. Even when he was a little boy, whatever Jimin did he had to do it to perfection! He even won many competitions and awards for being best, when it came to competing in martial arts as well!

Jimin wasn't very into studying until 3rd grade in elementary school. 2. He wouldn’t even be willing to finish the practice booklet. Every time the teacher came up to him he would just let out a sigh "Pufu~"& head to the study room, looking like a little cutie pie. 3. He has great empathy & compassion for the world. Even when he only met these people once, he still does. The stories abt all these poor people he met always surprised me when he told me. 4. Although he didn’t seem to have a huge interest in studying, he did get 2nd place in the first exam when he enrolled to middle school. His parents were looking into artistic fields for his future career since they thought his chances were slim in white-collar work, but he did some magic and got the 2nd best grades in his class at the first exam when he became a middle schooler. 5. Out of nowhere he was named "the God of Math"- sometimes he would substitute for his teachers. @@e0n555 - yeah it was a scholarship to go to China, but it was only for around a week or so, to study martial arts there. I believe it was not from Highschool but from where he trained martial arts at. Jimin even said that since his master was friends with the Hapkido master he learned even more styles. So i5 goes to follow, especially knowing Jimin that I’m sure he wouldn’t turn down an6 offer 5o learn even more! Plus what an honor it was considering he’s the only one who had the offer of such a great opportunity! I find it interesting how someone would find it unbelievable that Jimin might have an interest! Especially since it was an honor and just a week or so! I mean Jimin did the same with dance, learning as many styles available throughout the yrs. Interesting how some just stress only contemporary when indeed Jimin had way more yrs studying different styles of hip hop! He even took more classes on weekends or at night since even after having a live for contemporary still loved & practiced hip hop styles, also contrary to what many insist, without having all the facts! Someone who was still attending the Just Dance Academy even spotted him there saying he still took classes whenever he could.

What you are describing here, is a consummate PERFORMER. Jimin always performs with every tool available to him… his dance knowledge/training, physical ability/skills, his vocal skills, his EYES; his musicality, etc…all important to performance! Some of the clips in this video were not that old. As long as he takes care of himself physically and emotionally, he can have a very, very, very long career…even if parts of it change focus. That is what is so great about being so talented in so many areas. He can nurture some and enhance others, as needed. Love him! 💜

I’m sure there are a couple of members who I are strong enough to may be do one or two of the acrobatic moves, but Jimin is the only one who can do it as gracefully and effortlessly. I strongly agree with you regarding how important Jimin is to the BTS choreography. I feel that he also plays an equal role of importance with his singing due to his unique voice and ability to reach such high notes. Amazing that this one man could, and did, change the way the choreography and music were designed for BTS, the most popular musical group in the world. All the members of BTS are extremely gifted, but Jimin possesses other additional skills that place him a category unreachable by any other artists currently performing. As you can tell, Jimin is also my bias.

true about the adding unique style to the chorography. remember in black swan when they implemented modern dance to their movements and jimin was the center figure. and also in idol when they each jumped and also blood sweat and tears the floor grinding hehe. JK and Hobi is also good at handstand and jumps. it´s so cool that they used the members strengths insted of the companies idea. this was BTS ideas working with the company. witch most other groups dont do they are just given a concept and some songs. also i have never seen dancing like BTS does. it´s so unique all the others os more hands movements and hardcore manly attitude. witch i dont like. bts is funny when they dance too and they can be graceful and powerful. they have a dance for almost every song and it´s so detailed.

Jimin’s ability to pose so beautifully in “flight” (to me) has to be from his years of his martial arts training but a huge part is due to his years of ballet and contemporary and classical training! Man has been dancing his whole life practically. And you can tell he pays attention to every minute nuance in the choreography performance. I could watch him just dance all day and never be bored!!
