Despite Cube’s sketchy record, they have actually been promoting all their groups pretty well over the past few months. IDLE has been booked for alot of festivals, world tour, and a reality show. Lightsum has Dream Concert, Weekly Idol, several other appearances on radio and dance cover channels and they are actually going to be performing at Donauinselfest 2022 in Austria on 25th June, the biggest free open air concert in all of Europe. The first ever K-pop group invited

Sooooo, regarding BVNDIT's long hiatus, MNH are kind of a tiny company, with only Chungha and BVNDIT as their active idols, and when Chungha caught COVID eaaaaaarly in the pandemic (I think she was *the first* idol to contract it, back in the Alpha strain days), and had to delay Querencia's release, and then it didn't sell very well... well, they kinda went broke. Chungha's Killing Me was very much about the stress and pressure she felt from being the main breadwinner for the company and how she felt like she was letting everyone down with the album sales. I don't honestly know how they stayed solvent through the last year+, or where they found the money for this BVNDIT comeback (and Chungha's upcoming 2nd full album), but I'm glad they did, because I love both artists a lot.

You need to add CLASS:y's "CLASSY" to the the catch ups (if you do another sometime again this month) they released a second part to their debut mini album "CLASS IS OVER" (this mini album has the song SHUT DOWN as a main title track and others are just title tracks but still like a bside) which is called "LIVES ACROSS" (and then this is for the track CLASSY as the main promotional song/title track)

Covid hit bvndits company, MNH, really hard. Probably harder than most. Chungha is the other artist under their label and covid really messed up their plans for her 2020 full album. It got delayed multiple times and I'm sure some promo opportunities got canceled. On top of the fact that she didn't sell as many albums as MNH probably expected. So they've been broke and putting all the money they did have into Chungha because she makes more money. Even before their hiatus, bvndit was only selling 2.5k-3k copies of their other mini albums. That's most likely why their MV isn't in 4k. I'm sure their budget wasn't big enough to afford all the transitions they put in it on top of 4k. A lot of us didn't think they'd get a comeback and we were all incredibly excited when we got comeback, not disbandment news from them. But yeah, bvndits absence almost certainly wasn't intentional. MNH does have its issues too, not to say they don't. Even before covid, they didn't do promo super well. but it should at least be noted that a lot of their recent problems have been related to covid.

I'd disagree a little that MNH didn't promote BVNDIT well before the pandemic - I mean from "Hocus Pocus" until "Jungle" they had three title tracks and four promoted b-sides with performance or MVs, plus a variety show, plus occasional choreo and vocal videos. BVNDIT have always been a sort of "hobby" group for MNH since Chung Ha is their bread and butter, but they weren't doing poorly by them. BUT...the company stubbornly clung to the plan for Chung Ha's double album and because all of the preview singles were not physical releases, MNH booked essentially no revenue for over a year (while also dramatically expanding their headquarters offices). If they had followed CUBE's example (I can't believe I am praising CUBE management for ANYTHING, but here we are...) and quickly switched to a series of mini-albums supported by streaming concerts (perfect way to promote BVNDIT along with Chung Ha) they would not have been in the financial mess they got into. How they have dug themselves out, I don't know, but I dearly hope that BVNDIT will get more comebacks quickly to regain some of their lost momentum.
