FOR ALL JOLIN'S FOREIGN FANS, I'd like to introduce this video for you : Jolin used to be a perfectionist. Everyone judged her, including herself. She role-played as a judge, and also the prisoner who was “ugly”- not in line with public expectations. What is ugly? What is beauty ? Why is fat ugly ? And why is thin beautiful? Her outfit is also a hot issue. Her red carpet dress of Golden Melody Award in 2008, was being making fun of looking like a Cuttlefish. She used to eat vegetables without oil and never enjoyed the food in her life, in order to keep in shape and try to please others. Skin whitening was also a wrong cognition of many people. The blue dress was one of her LIVE Concert “Dancing Forever” costume in 2006. She learned many acrobatics to proof herself such as :pommel horse, ribbon dance, fouette,etc. She thought everyone loves to see her challenging herself, but when she won the best female singer of Golden Melody Award in 2007, haters said that “It was a Gymnast won this, not a singer. ” Suddenly, she realizes that she was always trying to please everyone, but never did anything for herself. It was a long journey for Jolin to find herslf and learn how to love herself. Haters are everywhere, even now! But when she started to be herself, she became more and more happier. Never do anything for others, do it for yourself! Never please anyone, please yourself! She is so brave to review all of her bad histories, she thinks that those experiences make who she is today! that blue dress is from a tour of Jolin. She dressed like that and did some amazing gymnastics, including the Rings. After that she was laughed that it was like circus, and many people made funny and insulting GIFs, and they were widely spread. Jolin made fun of it in this music video, and shows a big heart and the relief of that sad history.
