FAKE LOVE - NO CGI’s were used in the MV (they have a behind-the-scenes video if u want to see) -This song could initially be perceived as a break-up song but it is much more than that..... In an interview, RM (leader) said that this song was mainly about the dark side of love and how sometimes when you love someone you want to change who you are to fit that person's expectations. He added that if you aren’t true to yourself, that love will never work and it'll end up destroying you. It actually fits into a bigger story that the group is trying to tell through their music. "Basically, our albums are like a four-part series; [the series] is about love. So [Love Yourself: Tear] is part three and it's like a turning point. “Fake love” always hits hard because loving myself isn’t easy like people tell me that I’m pretty & stuff but when I look in the mirror I see imperfections. A few years ago I changed who I was just to please those around me & I lied to myself for so long & to a point I didn’t recognize myself. Hi, some things about this boys. *Bts Is south Korean group, this days people prefer don't mix them with the term "kpop". Kpop isn't a genre, Kpop is an industry in Korea that create music for kids/adolescents, and not all singers/rappers/musicians in Korea are "kpop" 1. They are 7, 4 vocalist, 3 rappers (2 underground rappers) all dancers 2. Bts compose and produce in all their albums, so is very personal, they sing about mental health, politics, society, their fans, self love, etc 3. They have a story behind their videos so is difficult to new people understand, we (the armys) used to read and search to understand the link in their videos. Their last album for example was "map of the soul: 7" and is inspired by the psychologist book the map of the soul by Carl Jung. 4. The army love them because they are good people who started from a company in bankruptcy, and even being famous they stay humble. 5. They have a lot of genres but their base is very hiphop / rap. Also you can find subtitles in every possible language thanks to the fans, u only need to search with the name of the song or Activate cc. **Bts always present themselves as a Korean group, and always said they don't want to be labeled in a genre or industry. The fans also do not want to be mixed with kpopers, (most of us aren't kpop fans) we don't have the same ideals. Not because we like a group from korea that means we like all from that country.

If you guys really want to dive into the BTS world and understand the message and theories of their songs and videos their are lot of KZbin videos explaining their MV. Just keep in mind that the early albums of BTS tells a story so you have to start from BTS begin and then the mini stories before you plunge into the whole thing so you could connect the message of each song.

You’re right. Dynamite is the first full-English song. (Butter comes out in a few hours and I THINK it’s going to be all English) It came out last year and we promoted it hard. ARMY sometimes sets goals we need to hit when it comes to views or downloads, and luckily we were able to meet our goal last summer of making Dynamite the most viewed video in 24H with 101M views. Army loves reactors, we love bringing new listeners into the fold and teaching them about BTS, breaking down their preconceived notions about kpop or Korea in general, and showing them a world we have all found acceptance in. BTS is for everyone, ARMY is for anyone to be a part of as long as they uphold BTS’ convictions to love others no matter who they are. ARMY loves nurturing baby ARMYs into our family. The only time we get upset is when people judge things without trying to understand, when they have prejudice or hatred particularly towards BTS, antis who slander the group or individual members, or when people use them for clout. Also, when reactors don’t respect BTS or ARMY. Like if ARMY has a goal (like we did with Dynamite) we sometimes don’t want reactors to post reactions for the length of our goal if it’s about views, that way those views can be focused on the new video and not reactions. We are very happy and thankful towards those who take the time to be part of us and know and love the guys. You’ll actually find all kpop fandoms are like that. When reactors take time to know who they react to, to know about the group, at least basic facts. Because when people just react to these big names and don’t care about people behind the names, its clout chasing. Also when the titles are misleading…ooh that one makes some of us mad af. There are some that are like “watching this for the first time” or “watching that for the first time”. Or this one dude does “first time so and so made me happy” and “first time so and so shocked me” and they just keep changing the adjective but they are trying to draw views saying it is the first time, when it isn’t. So if you look at the videos, their view count is actually going down.

that's true... love isn't perfect. but that line meant the concept of love is perfect but it just isn't. hence, it's a wish. what's tricky is the thin line between true love where the pain and effort is worth it versus a fake love where you just end up losing yourself. :) as for the music video of fake love, it's part of the bangtan universe (fictional storyline of bts going all the way back to 2015). 💜 everything in that mv meant something. thanks for your reaction. loved it.

Y’all might want to start doing polls in the community tab for which videos to do. But here’s a general guide: BTS will always win the poll, ARMY is the biggest fandom. Blackpink, EXO, Mamamoo it’s the same thing. Big fandoms, they’ll always win polls, so it’s better to leave them off the polls, do videos with those artists intermittently, and then also do anything new they put out.
