Fun fact: There used to be a shield that the Counter-Terrorists could buy in one of the early versions of the game. It has since been removed and was one of my favorite pieces of equipment.

@@Daxellz while I agree, it pretty much covers the entire front body of the person from head to toe like Montagne's shield, but could not turn into a small one. And you can still shoot with it. Although I don't really think its viable in the current Counter Strike game. Also because you can probably just be backed into a corner and harassed the entire game.
