Can't help but cry while watching this video, Ms. KC. I feel like I see myself in you. I also came from a broken family at the very young age of 4. My mom and I used to write letters like this when I was in grade school up to early high school. My mom is an OFW, so we used to send letters via post. Eventually, I stopped writing letters during HS because that time Yahoo mail was booming. Although, I still wish I had kept with this tradition too. When you wrote in one of your letters that you wished for a 'complete family,' my heart broke because I used to dream of this too. I resonate so much when you said that silver linings are glimmers of hope and happiness that have happened throughout our lives despite the odds. I feel like healing our inner child will be a lifelong journey. however, like you, I am sooo blessed with both parents being so supportive of me. We keep in touch and I visit them from time to time. Thank you so much for sharing this very personal experience from you as a child and your relationship with your parents. I sent this video to my mom, and to my shock, she also kept my letters. ❤❤

Naging buhay ka tlga ng mommy mo kc… kahit anong mangyari magkaroon ka man ng maraming kapatid iba parin ang panganay.. kahit saan anggulo tingnan the best parin ang panganay kc nun pinagbubuntis ka pa lang ng mommy mo exciyed nya sa makita ka … na which is hindi na ganun ka excite sa second child… tapus kuha mo pa lahat ng attension na dina ganun sa second child… so yun mga letters mo kaya keep ni mama mo kc isa sa mga dahilan how much she loves u,,, and am prettu sure when she misses you binabasa nya yan at kahit gaano kapa kalaki sa puso ng mommy mo you are still the little kc na panganay nya na unang minahal ng sobra at di mapapantayan yun❤❤❤❤
