LOONA is a 12 member girl group that debuted in late August 2018 with two lead singles “Hi High” & “favOriTe”. However, they had a huge 2 year long predebut project where each member was released one by one with a solo mv. In between every 4 members they also released a subunit. Their Korean name translates to Girl of the Month, that’s why they have 12 members and each girl was released each month. Every single song they have released is very different from the others. LOONA has always been a very forward thinking type group. In their solo mvs they have experimented with consent, self love, same sex love, and empowerment. That forward thinking has translated well into their full group mvs too. Their most recent comeback, Butterfly, gave a message of female empowerment all around the world. Their choreography for the song also proved that LOONA was taking the lead in their own message of female empowerment by displaying techniques typically seen in boy group choreographies. While also keeping a certain feminine elegance to their concept - not sexy, not girl crush, not cute, just LOONA. Also you might not like all the music because all the three sub units have their own very different sound and Loona's discography varies across all genres overall. Also Loona doesn't have any designated positions except for the leader line (Haseul, Kim Lip, Yves). BBC believes that all the girls can do anything since is why they all have their own solos. I suggest you react to a few videos at once because there is a lot. If you are interested in theories I suggest reading the descriptions of the videos starting from Kim Lip. The highnote in Hi High is from LOONA's main vocalist, Chuu. Her mom is an opera singer, so she takes after her a lot. She's really humble, but a lot of professionals around her admitted that she has "perfect pitch". She's very musically-driven, probably the most within the group. She composes and writes a lot, but company hasn't let her do it for the group yet, unfortunately. Also, she's like...the most adorable person you'll ever meet LOL! ♥

Dylan, First off, welcome to the LOONAVERSE. Second, this is actually my first time watching one of your vids. I already hit that subscribe button because you are a man of taste. Some answers to your questions 1) The blonde that left you speechless is Jinsoul (Full Name Jung Jinsoul). She's a 97 liner so don't sweat catching any type of case. 2) Jinsoul also sang the first part of that rap in "Hi High". 3) The second girl that caught your interest is Choerry (Full name Choi Yerim, girl in yellow shirt that says "Grish"). She's an '01 liner (18 now) and she sings the 2nd part of that rap in "Hi High", as well as part of the rap in "Butterfly". She's my personal bias as well. 4) Jinsoul, Choerry and Kim Lip (Girl in White next to Choerry in beginning of video) form Odd Eye Circle, a girl crush subunit. I get the feeling you would like their stuff as well. 5) LOONA's company is called BBC, they are a SMALL company (only 15 total employees), but all of the higher ups (including the CEO) are women. 6) The fanbase is called "Orbit", and we are a friendly bunch. We came to play at KCON LA, so much so, the girls themselves were overwhelmed with how many orbits came to support them. Since you like bubble gum K-pop, I would recommend listening to Yeojin's solo "Kiss Later" next.

The rap bit you really liked was actually 2 members. The first bit was Jinsoul (the blonde you said was really pretty at the beginning) and the “nan geureom nan” bit was Choerry, the girl with pigtails. It'll help you learn more about the Loonaverse lore along the way, since the things you were wanting to point out in the Butterfly MV were actually symbols of that lore and have all appeared in their other videos.
