Really enjoying following your LOVEBITES journey. Yeah, this band took all that was best in metal, and made it even better. The white dresses are to help them stand out on stage they said, the tallest, MIYAKO is just 5'2". ASAMI's operatic vocals and her command of the stage brings that BRUCE DICKINSON factor that is perfect for this band IMO. And those solos man...good night. Nailed it...the second one is called the crazy shredder for a reason. 👸HARUNA 🥁⭐️🏆 🤘🐺🤘

M&M not the candy M (Midori)& M (Miyako) are in my opinion the best guitar dou on the metal scene today. Midori (blond ponytail) tech savvy with speed. Miyako (black hair) classicly trained pianist, with more of a blues classic type. Some of her solos has the stamp of Gary More. The point is that they are extremly skilled individuals and when they compose and play together in unison it´s MAGIC. The hole band is FANTASTIC and as a an old grey haired metal guy, they have woken me and opened my eyes for music again (and feel younger and inspired). You have a big treasure chest of songs to discover. Greatings from Sweden.

😂😂 You are the first reaction channel to look at their outfits and think that. I don't know anyone else who looked at their clothing and thought of bullfighting 😂. TL;DR - People giving anyone grief about commenting on outfits or gender or anything are morons and are the real problem (as long as the comments aren't derogatory). Stop worrying about people giving you grief or anything when you're commenting on stuff, especially the outfits and look of these artists. They (and other artists) put a LOT of thought into the ENTIRE concept and not just the music. The "costumes". The "theme". The "attitude". The whole package so avoiding talking about what they're wearing in an effort to not upset anyone shouldn't even be a thing. Say what you gotta say and as long as it's not douchey forget about what others "might" say to you. Look at Band-Maid and their entire concept. Here is the deal: "Band-Maid's image is modeled on maid café hostesses, with the standard uniform adapted to match each member's personality.[11] In interviews, they explained the concept came from founding member Miku Kobato who had previously worked at a maid café in Akihabara.[13] This theme is reinforced by the band, who refer to their male fans as "masters," their female fans as "princesses," and their concerts as "servings."[65] The band's "cute and submissive" maid appearance is meant to contrast with their aggressive rock style." So of course commenting on the costumes is something they want or else they wouldn't have put them in and had this whole thing going. Anyway, welcome aboard! Out of all the Japanese music I've been listening to lately Lovebites is my #1. I just started into Gacharic Spin and if you want to see weird looks and concepts check them out; especially their earlier stuff.

Progressive-thrash makes sense to me very much. Though you know well about M&M guitar by know because this is re-uploaded, I say they both are equally able to play all the technique in playing guitar but their play style is very different from each other. Midori is a typical shredder with less technique variety (though she can do anything), Miyako plays with even technical variety, but they both produce fair melody lines in their solo which is outstanding.

Lovebites is one of my top 5 favorite bands. I believe Miho (bass and founder of group) was tired of the typical sterotype of wearing black while playing metal music so she decided to have the band dress in white and contrast their old school metal sound. All their fans where also sad when Miho decided to leave the band in 2021.

These women are extremely talented, skillful and versatile exceptional musicians. Their main influences are Iron Maiden, Metallica, Slayer, Helloween, Angra, Judas Priest, Dragonforce, and even Gary Moore, but they have been developing their unique style. They really shine in their live performances. I recommend songs from the concerts “Wacken Open Air” (Germany, 2018), “Daughters of the dawn” (2019), “Five of a kind” (2020), “Awakening From The abyss” (studio live, 2020) and “Heavy metal never dies” (2021); avoid “Bloodstock” because audio is not good (not their fault). Those twin lead guitar solos by Midori and Miyako are already legendary, in just a little more than five years. Miyako is also a concert-level classical pianist. Asami used to sing R&B, soul and jazz before she joined Lovebites. In an interview, Miho (ex bassist) said that they wanted to play as heavy as men but keeping their femininity. I love their outfits; it’s one of the things that sets them apart, they look so gorgeous and it’s a kind of a “gap”. My next suggestions are “Thunder vengeance”, “Break the wall”, “The Awakening/Hammer of wrath”, “Set the world on fire”, “Shadowmaker”, “Raise some hell”, “Scream for me”, “Dancing with the devil”, “Spellbound”, “Frozen serenade”, “Addicted”, “Don’t bite the dust”, “Above the Black Sea” (all live). Lineup: Haruna - Drums Miho - Bass, backing vocals Midori - Lead & rhythm guitar, backing vocals Miyako - Lead & rhythm guitar, keyboards, classical piano, backing vocals Asami - Lead vocals, some piano Currently the band is on hiatus because Miho left the band last year and the process to find her replacement has already started.

The singer Asami studied ballet since age of 2. Her outfit and dance moves are designed to show off this. They chose the color white because most metal bands wear black and you can't see them perform on stage an white makes them more visible. Band Maid costumes were almost all black so now they have more white and sequense to reflect light and make them more visible. Interested in the outfits. Miho the bassist and Haruna the drummer were in a Fantasy Metal band Destrose, and they wore pirate costumes. My personal favorite band is Aldious check them out, when Rami was the singer they wore very colorful evening gowns, like they were headed to the red carpet for the Oscars. In Japan, where more than 100 groups are active with only female bands, it is difficult to become famous just by skillful performance, so it is necessary to have different characteristics from other bands. Stage costumes are one of them. For "Band-Maid," they chose the costume of "Maid Cafe," which was a part-time job of the members (one of Japanese pop culture, a product of the delusions of miserable men). And for "LOVEBITES", they chose a white feminine outfit from Miho's remark "I'm tired of all the dark outfits".
