Solar is my ult bias and i cant and i never going to get over this performance of Solar..i think you would love her "despacito" performance too..havent got over that one either haha.. All these covers are amazing and what i love about Mamamoo is that they give us so much personality, feels like i always say that haha but i think about it every time i see them its impossible not to smile when you see them. Its hard to recomend funny videos that wont spoil songs and performaces you havent seen yet but like others already said "MAMAMOO questionable behaviors when drunk" is really funny and spoiler free but i its easier to recomend funny videos when you have seen more mv's because my favorite funny videos of them will spoil many mv's/songs you havent react to yet so i think i would like to see more mv's especially "your the best" "yes i am" and "decalcomanie" :)

solar's "fire" cover was part of her solo stage at last year's 4 season f/w concerts. she mixed it with "shut up and let me go" by the tingtings. it was the last part of her 20 minute solo stage and she still had so much energy in it... that's most likely why moomoos kept suggesting something other than this cover, just because it was the end part of a longer solo stage. and all of their solo stages are absolutely worth watching, which i'm sure you already guessed. but this kind of shows you why, even though their stages are all so vastly different, they're all so great at commanding the stage mostly unrelated, but with the new 'moomoo trip' show that's been released these past few weeks, following a two day trip mamamoo did to celebrate their 6 year anniversary, every time wheein was shown grilling meat in one episode she would constantly break out into an adorable rendition of "fire" and the way you sang at the beginning just totally reminded me of that and then back to the concert thing... if you're interested, there's an upload of mamamoo's 4 hour long (yes, you read that right) four seasons f/w concert with subtitles being shared around on google drive. it does, sadly, have a few segments taken out since it's from the official dvd so they had to remove songs they didn't have rights to (solar's "fever" and wheein's "be like me" are the only two that i recall being removed, but those are both seen in fancams from the concerts) and moonbyul's cover... i actually kind of want to see her do another cover of the song with her current confidence, without her referencing this cover for it. i'm really curious how she'd go about it these days as someone else mentioned, byul's raps rarely seem forced or tacked onto the songs they're in, which honestly takes quite a bit of talent, esp with the array of styles mamamoo tackles. but, amazing as she is at rapping, i swear her vocals will constantly surprise everyone, even those of us that have followed the group for years

originally wheein also danced to "candy", was going to have segments of that in her video but when she was reviewing it, she wasn't happy with her own performance so cut those bits out (i think the parts where she's wearing a black shirt in the video replaced those). she did say she was going to post a full dance cover for the song at some point, too, because of that also, quite a lot of fans of the original absolutely love wheein's cover, constantly saying how she both kept it true to the original yet also made it totally her own at the same time "talk" was one of hwasa's birthday covers. she gives us a song on her birthday every year, virtually all of them covers, nearly all of them too short. this year's song was 'watermelon sugar". and the only one that's been originally hers is "be alright" (not to be confused with her 'be calm"). "be alright" was her solo cf song for lg monitors, originally released in a commercial with explosions and other sound effects. back in 2018 she released a version without the explosions on her birthday. one of my favorite birthday covers of her is still "city of stars" (soft moment on that one: the image she put up with that song's audio is her and wheein at the beach) i believe "talk" and "watermelon sugar" are the only two birthday covers she's got actual videos for and both of them manage to showcase her adorable side, a side way too many people still don't seem to know exists one of the most-used fandom nicknames for her (after 'lion') is 'hyegi', which combines her real name, hyejin, with the korean word for baby. because she is such a total softie when she's not onstage fans have actually made compilations of both of these songs, mixing baekhyun's and wheein's "candy" versions together as well as khalid's and hwasa's "talk" together. both actually work out pretty well

Moonbyul's "Don't Forget" Cover always makes me happy as a lesbian. Because Byul wrote it to be undeniably about a girl being in love with another girl. I don't like assuming people are gay or straight, so I'm not going to do that, because it doesn't matter for this song to matter. Even if Byul doesn't like girls, that means she consciously wrote this for LGBT people to identify with. She didn't have to. And that makes me really happy.

Now you've experienced a taste of Mamamoo's INSANE live band😳😳😳they are SOMETHING ELSE Fifi.... Their full 4seasons concert dvd is uploaded on yt. You can really see how amazing the band is there. Nice choices! That mid tempo r&b groove is where Wheein lives and I love those tunes, like your fav Easy. That style of song doesn't usually get as much attention as the pop bops or the soulful ballads but it's my go to comfort soul food. Hwasa dropped Talk on her birthday as a present to moomoos (a MMM tradition) and it's another sweet groove. Solar's version of Fire is the most passionate cover of Fire ever. Talk about burning down the house ... She's the energizer bunny on steroids - Fire was the last song in her 20 minute emotional roller coaster solo set that came about 2 hours into Mamamoo's 4+ hour 4 Seasons F/W concert. The woman is a force of nature and Fire is the perfect song to express her pure radiant spirit. Moonbyul is simply one of the coolest people in kpop and my guess is every idol who isn't already her friend wants to be. 💜💛💙❤️️
