FYI for those who don't know: Hwasa wore a cute top that was "too revealing" so Knetz were judging her saying she should not wear that to the airport because it is as if she is just wearing a bra. So Hwasa goes to the airport the next time in a plain white t-shirt and doesn't wear a bra (since those people told her not to wear 'that' bra). You should listen again when the subtitles are out. This whole song 1/2 a diss track to those judging/hating knetz and 1/2 about loving yourself for who you are

"HIP" is mainly a diss track against haters who did not like Hwasa's (she composed the song and wrote lyrics) look, her behavior on stage and clothes ("President Hwasa was dressed ridiculous at the airport"), and because in Korea this overlaps often with fanaticism of other artists' fanbases, there are a bit of those haters and they can be very annoying, and it is at them that Hwasa spits at some point. Meanwhile, no matter what you wear or what you do in your life, just love yourself, do what you like and you can always be hip. The whole concept of the album "Reality in Black" (BLACK is an acronym for Bless Life and Carry Knowledge) is actually an attempt to answer the question of how much you can change yourself while remaining yourself (in 4 universes). But to better understand this, before listening to the album (I highly recommend it!, my favorites are "4x4ever" and "High tension", for now :), It's worth watching all 12 teasers (3 alternative universes X 4 members) which Mamamoo dropped on YT before album realese (e.g. Princess Solar, escaping from the palace to the gym to train before a boxing match). Red hoodies refer to the very popular Spanish TV series (Netflix) "La Casa de Papel" (Money Heist).
