Hey love your videos! And I'm loving this react video because I've been following you since the beginning of my plant journey in mid 2019. My african violet also doesn't bloom for me but since I put in below my grow light the leaves are a beautiful dark green and bushy

Hey Becca! This video reminds me of when you, Nicole and Adam watched your first KZbin videos together. You all should do another one, but reacting to getting new “trending” plants from a while ago. I remember wanting a Pinstripe Calathea soooo bad, and I finally found one locally for a good price and size. The bugger had spider mites within a couple of weeks, and I swear NOTHING would get rid of them! Calatheas (or whatever they’re called nowadays), are permanently banned from my home. 😋

lol ivy was my first plant as a kid and it always died. and I always got another. UNTIL one day I got an "air plant" before tilandias were a thing. it was like a dried and died fern thing.

keeping my african violets in a round, glazed pot and fertilizing it with diluted liquid fertilizer year round keeps it blooming pretty much all year long! 😁

I've had my African violets for going on 3 years. Sometimes I forget about them. Always dry completely before bottom watering. I also clean the leaves with Luke warm water when I water. Always blooming.
