This show is great with its world building, storytelling and character development. One of the things that I absolutely enjoy about this show is how every character is unique and gets their own time to shine. You should definitely give it a try, I promise you won't regret it! :)

Fun fact the mangaka (author) of mha is a huge Star Wars fan so there are a lot of Star Wars references. He took a lot of inspiration from Marvel Comics for this story. Hope you have the chance to react to Bnha it's a really good story

I always like to think of my hero as a top quality example of a good, by the book shounen. So it may seem generic but I think it does well in embracing the best aspects that are well known from the genre and doing a really good honest job with them.

Definitely react to MHA! I wasn’t sure if i’d like it at first, but I think it’s a great take on the shonen genre. It has lots of characters to fall in love with, some amazing emotional stories, and some moments of truly incredible animation. I think my favorite thing about it is how it manages to have some super fun, super wholesome and heartwarming moments, but also contrasts that with some really emotional or dark or intense moments too. I think a show needs to have a wide range of emotion in order to connect with the viewer. If it’s all fun and wholesome all the time, then it never feels like there are any stakes or any reason to care about the conflicts. If it’s only dark and intense, with no moments of relief or levity, it just gets exhausting, and it again feels pointless. You need the lighter moments to remind you of the stakes and gravity of the darker moments, and you need the darker ones to make you fully appreciate the lighter moments of happiness and wholesomeness. Also, there *absolutely* is a frog hero, and she’s great, and I love her. One of my many many favorites.

Also, if we talk arcs like Talent Shows and School Festival arcs, they usually go about preparations and performance occurs in the second half or even the end of final episode of the arc. But is this opening have anything to do with reality in the season and how much, if yes... That's gonna be a mystery for you until you watch this whole thing. A-A-AND I wouldn't be able to tell you anything on Season 5 openings, because I was to busy to catch it when it came out and will be restarting from season 1 soon anyway, because reasons. There's some kind of major spoilers or something, or so I was told, so unless it's the same I already got accidentally (KZbin recommendations, amrite?) I better stay away for now. Will let it play in mute though, so you get your view. Should you watch this anime? I'd say yes. There are few points that I would call questionable from narrative and inner logic standpoint later in the series, but overall it is pretty good. To describe in one sentence - "Japanese shōnen capepunk made by guy, who loved western superheroes almost too much". Okay, that kinda sounds even better than I was talking about it before... UPD: yeah, don't mind this thing, I just went and fixed some typos and whatnot. I had a lot of them that day, but that's whole another topic.

The openings are very good but can contain spoilers for the show. Though generally I don’t think people remember the spoilers when they get to them so it depends on what you want to do. Also, FMA was the original series, it outstripped the manga and made its own ending that took a very different path for the story. FMA brotherhood was made later after the manga finished and follows the whole story in the manga to the end. They are both very good but I and many others love brotherhood more and it’s story is much more epic in scope.

@@stellaa_rrose FMA came first when manga still wasn't finished and directors of the anime just kinda went with it on their own. So somewhere around 1/3 of it, it stops being canon. FMA:B came out few years later after that and its 100% canon with manga, no fillers or anything

season 5 definitely didn't do the manga justice, the liberation army arc was cut down SO SHORT because the producers thought people wouldn't enjoy watching the villains. they also rearranged a few arcs. I think both of those factors ultimately caused it to be criticised so much - but my god, season 6 absolutely brought them back! probably one of, if not, my favourite season of bnha!

Okay, you guys have NO idea what this is, this is a hero school, all these prison like areas are hero training grounds and the fences are to keep villains out. The scary dude with the hand mask is a main villain along with his shady squad, the weird faced blonde guy is the big superman looking guy, and pretty much every prediction you guys got was completely wrong lol, this may be a blind reaction. But here's a good tip, to figure things out better, you don't just discuss it, you play it back, slow it down, pay VERY close attention and things would make more and more sense before actually watching the anime and getting completely ghosted lol.
