“Throughout rhythms and music, I alone am the piano one” ~the first guy
@alexkillian11338 ай бұрын
Wow, This is Alex the third one on your list. I can’t believe you featured my video, I didn’t think it would happen since I submitted it a while back. I’m sad you didn’t get a little more into the meat of the song because the advice you gave in just the first quarter was incredibly helpful. Definitely changed my way of thinking and I’m going to try not to be so streamlined. I really appreciate it. Going to keep coming back for more. This made me want to hire you for lessons

Sorry it took so long to get to your video! I did listen to it all, I promise, I just have to edit my 3 hour long waffling recordings down to these 20-30 minute videos, so a lot gets left out. I may end up finding a way to do less cut down versions in the future and digging more into each recording on a separate channel or a patreon or something! I’m glad you found it useful though! 😊

ANIME music haha with the jazz 3, 1, 2, 5, 4, , IIo , V/V , i shit you know lol I told you :) that other video months ago haha. 8 months playing that is pretty damn good, the Accelrando in the left hand is much faster as you can imagine , while the right has that rubato that is going to be the wall of the piece. yeah and lol def inspired by golden hour same phrasing, haha the scene is all magical with the sun.

I also had a lot of trouble having the wrist up when playing and it was because my nails were on the way, it was ''clicking'' on the notes every time I played them. One of my teacher told me when I was younger that I needed to choose between having nice long nails or having a good hand posture. I think that is the decision that Sara has to make to resolve that problem :) Nice playing tho! A lot of great playing in this video, you have a good community, and I love these types of videos! Keep it up

Thanks, I’m glad you enjoy my videos. I agree, it’s a tough one because it’s often a sacrifice people don’t want to make. I know that when I start to hear clicking, I know it’s time to cut my nails 😂

the andalusian candence, song was cool I wonder what song that is. I reaslly wanted it to go to Phyrgian dominant so bad tho haha. i have jazz/classic nails for guitar and trilling can be a pain if they get too long for sure. I have kind of learned to live with it a little bit, without a VST, the trill sound is really bad on digital Kb anyways . Espeically the sub par 500

How does one write music if they cannot read it?
@dees31798 ай бұрын
Hear it in your head, figure out how to play it, record it, use a computer to translate it into sheet music…… there are lots of possibilities. If you can dream it, music is possible.

Hey, would you watch a video of a scientific channel, Veritasium, about clickbaits/thumbnails? I feel that your videos are waaaaay better than the views makes them look. You deserve so much more. Think it would help you. Make people watch you for the first time is the challenge. The quality of your videos will make the rest.
@matticawood8 ай бұрын
Hey! I’ve watched it 😊 and I appreciate that you like my content! I always think my titles/thumbnails could definitely be better. The difficulty is; because the content is relatively specific (I say things that music people understand 😂), I’ve found that the more “mass appealing” the title is, the more likely the video is to tank because regular people don’t watch very much of me talking about chords. So it’s a tough one to balance. I agree though, I need to work on packaging the videos much better in a way that appeals to the right people…and your comment (and Veritasium’s video) has definitely made me think of a few ideas that might be a better approach, so thank you! 😊
