Kostis, Montenegro has participated in the Eurosong alone since its independence in 2006. There were years when it skipped the competition, though.

@@igorlakicmne1181 Thanks for the info. I was also on and off with Eurovision for some years so I was not sure. Also there were many years that I was watching only the finals, so if they didn't qualify I wouldn't know they were there.

Kostis is BAAAAAACK! And the new season already! I'm still knee deep in the 2024 and still listen to a lot of artist from this year but I think I'm ready to embrace new class 😊😊😊 I do like Montenegro song, the beat is catchy and its kind of rockish vibe that I like, it didn't sweep me of my feet but I'm happy with it, I hope it will be another strong year 😊😊😊

The song reminds me the 80's and it' s ok, I wouldn't say its a winner allert because it's the first song but it depends of the next songs how they are, and then probably it could be a winner alert😅 ( I hope to find something nice in the next songs). There's been a lot of negativity with this entry. I actually think Montenegro made a smart choice. A Balkan ballad would most assuredly not advance. At least this option has some potential. Yes, the visuals need work, but they should have a better budget for visuals at Eurovision. I do think they can't be precious with the song and should be open to changing some of the instrumentation so there's a greater impact at Eurovision. And I might throw in a short spoken word section in English, just so the wider audience has a better understanding of their song. I might play around with the translated lyrics: "I'm at war with bots, Trading screenshots," and add a line about propaganda.

Hello - to answer your question, the last time Montenegro competed was in 2022, I believe they left because of financial issues + they didn't qualify - I think they competed in the 2010s too but overall their country hasn't qualified often - hopefully they can improve this entry because at the moment it's not amazing

Yeah about the song, I personally don't dislike it, it's cool, but I agree I need more energy, it lacks something, a revamp giving more progression to the song is needed, too repetitive imo, but it's a vibe, the hook is cool, the message is good.
