Alright let's begin 1974: The first Mechagodzilla, a robot built by aliens to invade earth, disguised as the real Godzilla until the big G confronted it. It was defeated when Godzilla ripped it's head off. 1975: Mechagodzilla got rebuilt but this time he has new controls and can keep fighting, even without his head. He got backup this time by a mind controlled aquatic dinosaur Kaiju named Titanosaurs( not to be mixed up the real life long neck dinosaurs of same name). Defeated by his new controls ( a human girl (for some reason?) kills herself to stop it) 1993: Mechagodzilla 2: created by humans from the remains of the previous mech that defeated Godzilla (Mecha- King Ghidorah) to fight a stronger Godzilla.when it combines with Garuda( the ship that becomes its backpack) it becomes Super Mechagodzilla, being the first Mecha G to temporarily Kill Godzilla. Defeated by said Godzilla when he is revived from absorbing the soul of Rodan(it's similar to what happens with Mothra in GKOTM 2019) giving him a new ability: The Red Spiral Ray. His atomic breath now turns red with a spiral around it when used. 1998: Cyberzilla: after the death of Zilla it's remains were taken to a secure location, after an advanced race aliens were got their hands on it, they turned it into a reanimated cyborg zombie. It wasan inspiration for The creation of Mechagodzilla 3/Kiryu, plus being the first Zilla/ only Zilla to attack Tokyo in a true Godzilla fashion. It was defeated when the current Godzilla (Zilla Jr.) chose his adopted family over his biological father and proceeded to battle a rip out his chest compartment, killing him again. 2002: Kiryu/ Mechagodzilla 3 , a Mecha made by humans to face of against a new Godzilla, this using the skeletal remains and DNA of the original Godzilla, this lead to the spirit of the original Godzilla being fused with the Mecha causing it to go rogue if given the chance. It's blue beam is called the Absolute Zero Cannon( It will freeze a target at absolute zero temperatures and then begin the destroy said object at a molecular level). Wasn't defeated by Godzilla. 2002: they removed the Absolute Zero Cannon. Plus the reason why his chest beams seem short probably has to do with the fact his battery life is only two hours total. Still wasn't defeated by Godzilla, being the first Mechagodzilla to beat Godzilla twice. 2018: this Godzilla was originally supposed to fight Godzilla earth when his was still 50m tall ( it then got turned into a city for the second movie: City on the Edge of Battle in a very click- baity trailer) 2021: Singular point is an anime series that can be found on Netflix (aka Godzilla Ultimas series) Mechagodzilla was only briefly shown being built in preparation for Ultimas attack on Tokyo( it is also built using the remains of a previous dead Godzilla) I don't think I have to explain RPO and GVK. Kiryu's most powerful weapon the beam out of the chest it is called absolute zero cannon also its a short burst but it is very powerful. Kiryu is also made out of gojira 1954's skeliton so when kiryu's eyes turn red gojira takes control of kiryu in the movie and gojira finished destroying the city by controling kiryu even if gojiras dead he can still remember everything from 1954 so he finished what he has started in 1954 by controling kiryu. He is only strong in close combat. He defeated Godzilla because he was also a close fighter. He has very little durability. This is what makes him weak. Super Mechagodzilla could destroy it with all-gun fire or one of the ranged weapons. Kiryu can fly away and attack from afar. So it's far from the strongest Mechagodzilla. It shows that he is vulnerable to atomic breath and quickly began to block it

GVK Mechagodzilla is not the strongest one, the strongest Mechagodzilla is the Heise one, aka the 1993 version, Heise Godzilla is already known for being the strongest Godzilla in the live action universe, so for it to be defeated by Mechagodzilla makes this Mechagodzilla the strongest, Most of the Heise are the strongest versions of those Kaijus. 2. The 1v1 question, btw no plot armor 1974 - Mechagodzilla (If Godzilla didn't get struck by lightning, he would not have pulled off that little magnet trick) 1975 Terror - Not Sure (Forgot) 1993 II - Mechagodzilla (Technically did kill Godzilla but Rodan sacrificed himself to recharge him, so really Mechagodzilla won that) 2002 Kiryu Saga - Kiryu (Actually killed Godzilla) 2018 Anime Trilogy - Not Sure (Forgot) 2021 Singular Point - Undecided (Have not seen that Mechagodzilla in action yet) 2021 GvK - Mechagodzilla (Proven by the director)

Kiryu did not kill Godzilla in both movies. The first one, Godzilla is wounded enough to turn around and walk away from Kiryu but Kiryu is in no condition to fight Godzilla anyway (that is missing a hand and had the absolute cannon broken). The second one Kiryu disable Godzilla with the help of two Mothra larvae but Kiryu obviously lack the firepower to kill Godzilla. Kiryu is strong because he did very well to fight off Godzilla two times, but he will not win Godzilla in a 1v1 death match.

Word of advice: skip the anime trilogy. They're very boring and disappointing movies, there's little to no action, it's all "tell, don't show", and it's version of MechaGodzilla looks nothing like MechaGodzilla. Had you just been shown to it right now without context, you wouldn't have guessed it's MechaGodzilla.
