The comment at the end, I think it's literally predicting what people may think about this MV and write a hate comment saying to just show their faces and dance, meaning there's no need for all this storytelling they did here. That’s the surface level story. Johan was talking about the metaphorical interpretation. He was actually pretty close. OMG and ditto have been meta commentary on the kpop industry, fandom culture/parasociality, etc. Ditto was a compassionate look into the life of a lonely parasocial fan and OMG is a more scathing, satirical look into the life of an idol, with scenes dripping in irony.

It's child’s innocence for each member to think of themselves as a doctor, cat, iPhone, princess, and idol, but the moment they say that, people treat them like they're psychopaths, and that's why they've been taken to a mental hospital. The doctor squatted at the corner in the middle of the video and stared at the members because he realized that the members were not psychotic, but just purely innocent. The scene where the members change into various occupations in the video means that such a variety of people have a innocence in their minds, but they do not live expressing it. The last man in the video is a famous Korean cartoonist. Even though he's an adult, he's known to paint with a pure heart, like a child, and because he has a pure heart, what Haerin paints is actually visible.

Honestly I thought the song was like talking back to haters when I saw the ending. If you look at the lyrics it's kinda like the haters are obsessed with them and they're sarcastically saying like oh we're so lucky that we have him watching us 24/7! I thought that might be fitting as one of the theories for Ditto was that Heesoo represented the loving relationships between fans and idols, while this one addresses the haters.

After kpop groups r formed the members of the group are often pushed into boxes within the group. Seemingly forgetting who they truly are. 3rd theory. Which I favour. Is that after the accident that happened to the girls (newjeans and the other girl) in the ditto mv left them damage on a way. The sixth girl with a arm wrist bandages thing. While newjeans left in a mental instability Hyein thinks she is in a fairytale Hanni thinks she is an iPhone Danielle thinks they are newjeans. my own theories omg - newjeans or idols can relate to heesoo or to their fans. heesoo is alone, hurt or broken and just needs a companion. at the end of the day, we're the same and human. ditto - it also means heesoo and newjeans both exist in reality. but heesoo just imagining newjeans as her close friends and classmates. newjeans acknowledging heesoo as their friends because she is a fan of them. and if we put both tittle tracks together, it is "omg, ditto" or "omg, me too"
