For future reference: Curaçao = kur-uh-sao Despite being a Dutch island, the language spoken there is Papiamento, a Portuguese-based Creole (though also influenced by Spanish). So the ç makes a "s" sound

M8, I’m from Curaçao. First off, you’re right. It’s a constituent country within the Kingdom of De Nederlands. Second, the way it’s pronounced is kinda weird, (Cu-ra-s-ou) and if you land there in Geoguessr, just remember: BRIGHT BUILDINGS. Every building is a bright colour, and the Emma Branburg bridge is on a ton of boats, so it is easily recognisable. And also, many other Dutch territories have similar style, so they’ll either be: Curaçao (Capital is Willemstad), Aruba (Capital: Oranjestad), Bonaire (Kralendijk), Saba, Sint Eustatious, and Sint Maarten.
