I'm so happy that you're checking out OnlyOneOf! 😍😍 You absolutely NEED to see their whole "BE" series! "BE" series is a project where every member released solo song - so you get to see (and hear) them individually. Also you will see their individual styles of music. For "BE" series they were paired with another member (creating 3 pairings) to tell one story through connected MVs. So we got 6 MVs, each 2 telling together one story (3 different BL stories in total!). Members outside of those pairings also appeared in different MVs as cameos 😊 They are just cameos though, the 3 storylines are not connected. The behind the scenes are also great 👍 It's so cute to watch them working comfortably together, without freaking out that they are (in some scenes) very close to another member. And to see other members supporting and encouraging them from behind the camera, being each others biggest fans (and shippers lol). One important thing - while watching "BE" series (and other OnlyOneOf MVs) it's recommended to read their descriptions. Since their debut they are explaining their concept or idea behind the song/album and/or writing messages to listeners in the description. That's actually what interested me about OnlyOneOf from the very beginning. It's so unique! PS.: "chrOme arts" didn't have that probably because it's for Japanese album. I've noticed that under Japanese releases or performance videos they don't have anything special in the description. But it's worth checking every time 😊 PPS.: "chrOme arts" is Japanese song, while "chrOme hearts" is Korean version of the same song. Don't know why they changed the title instead of adding "Korean Version", but it's actually quite cool and unique - like the whole group 😎 Edit: Oh, and the first one from the "BE" series is Yoojung with the song "begin". You will find the next songs easily from there - they have numbers next to the title 😁

Well... this seriously just sparked an interest in looking into OnlyOneOf. I only JUST started getting into Kpop, Jpop and Cpop even, this year... last year it was all about BTS, but my eyes have been open this year and it has been a great and exhausting journey. I keep trying to avoid getting into new groups but they just keep sneaking up on me. I only just started getting into BLs' this year too. I was told and came across some videos about OnlyOneOf being... a close group and very BL like, but I had no idea just how much. I like that. They're not scared to just let it loose.

thank you for giving OnlyOneOf a chance! i'll try to put all the necessary info in this comment ^^ their leader love left the group for unknown reasons and it was a whole mess but all you really need to know is that he did nothing wrong and that everyone misses him dearly! the group does not really have a new leader, when asked on shows they say it's KB but he's only really the leader in name, they share the responsibilities now^^ KB enlisted pre debut, love enlisted after he left the group and the next member is a full 4 years younger than KB so the enlistment period shouldn't be longer than for other groups, the members who have to enlist were born between 96 and 99 OnlyOneOf are most well known for their active support of the lgbtq+ community and their portrayal of queer stories in their music, they're also known for pushing the boundaries and not shying away from taboo topics in their art such as queerness, religion (especially religious guilt) or toxic relationships. they're received a lot of backlash, especially of homophobic nature but haven't backed down in the slightest, only gotten braver it's also important to note that they are first of all adults, already were when they debuted, and second of all are heavily involved in the production, lyrics and choreography and they're very close to the other producers. because some people claimed ooo are being forced by their company or something but that couldn't be farther from the truth, they're very outspoken of their support some extra info on the songs you checked out first, all their korean title tracks have descriptions that i recommend reading especially for anything that dropped in the last 2 years libidO is part of an album called instinct part1 (yes there's a part2), based on freud, that follows a storyline about a boy/young man who's discovering his instincts, including his sexuality, the songs describe the infatuation with another person, the bliss that comes from it, the ugly obsession that can come from it and even the religious guilt one might feel for indulging in their instincts regarding the conan gray cover, ooo do a lot of covers, they often rearrange them even, that's probably what they were known for best before they made the queerness in their music more obvious chrome arts is a japanese title track, chrome hearts is just the korean version, that's why there are different names ^^ the lyrics are about the same tho (that's not always the case when they do versions in different languages) seoul drift is technically the continuation of their be series, a solo song project where each of the members released a song (so 6 in total) and the music videos portray queer love stories. 3 in total, the story/couple switches every two mvs. in seoul drift they have the same couples but it isn't nearly as story based as the be series, which feels like watching three mini dramas. and since each solo album/single got a colour assigned the albums form a rainbow fitting the queer themes, when they refer to "unblessed lovers" and the likes they mainly refer to queer people speaking of, i highly highly recommend watching the be series! it's incredible and means a lot to queer fans. it's honestly revolutionary in the very homophobic kpop industry when you asked if a year between comebacks is a lot, yes it is, the reason it took that long for ooo was because they were releasing the solos, one per month from june to december, as well as several japanese releases! besides the be series which i definitely think should be the priority for checking out next, i'd recommend their debut song savanna, their song sage and their song dOra maar, a song about picasso's former lover and mus and their very toxic relationship told from picasso's (toxic) point of view. all three are title tracks but dOra maar doesn't have a music video ah also yes they capitalise their Os because of their group name^^ they're also referred to as ooo

With smaller companies and soloists a longer gap between comebacks is normal bc they're working with a smaller budget. But thank you for reacting to Onlyoneof. If you want their full bl experience you can wait for the BL.drama they will all star in Bump Up Business or there's their be series a story of 3 couples in 6 mvs: begin, be free, be mine, because, beat and beyOnd.

Actually Screaming...I am so happy to see this. They are so underrated. Yes, the waists...Their discography is fantastic. I can't wait to see more. They're going to come in a bl drama pretty soon. They have the Be series too. Yes the waists and the guilty pleasure ver too. All the info on them is not that updated as they are not that popular, especially in Korea which is still pretty conservative and they depicted homoerotic nature in the libido video and choreo. Love was the leader and the member who left and the reason for leaving hasn't been disclosed to us so no idea. Now the eldest member takes the leadership role or sometimes even Nine (the youngest). I am honestly so happy that they are getting explored. They are lovely. LOVED THE REACTION TO THE WAIST.

MVs I would suggest is - Gaslighting, Sage, Savanna, Suit dance,Angel and a song of ice & fire These are not part of the 'Be' series, so if you want to see the be series, then they are in the specific order - Begin, be free, be mine, because, beat and then beyond My fav song right now without mv is doramaar (it has dance practice - one of their best songs) and candy bomb

You should definitely make a video on the entire BE series. Which is why they were 'gone' for a year. They had a year filled with solo projects that come in sets of 2 and tell different love stories from different perspectives. The songs are "begin", "be free", "be mine", "because", "beat" and "beyond". And that's probably also where the BL image comes from that you had of them initially XD But the be series also has some of my favourite songs. I think be free is my personal fav? They're all very unique and fun and it's a good way to learn the members cuz it's one song/mv per member.

They do produce a lot of queer-vibes content tbf. Their whole concept kinda cycles through the facettes of what makes us human, including stuff like religion (and religious gay trauma), sexuality, sensuality, sexual orientation, depression, etc etc. They're kinda intent on unwrapping humanity through music it's pretty fun. But since they portray so many struggles a lot of it is extremely queer coded which is probably why finding straight people in their fandom is like finding needles in a haystack XD@@EmberWishes

I like to call them the Spanish armada of kpop ships lol. They are actually staring in their own bo series, Bump Up Business, which I think is due for release in October. Plus they have a series of solo songs called the Underground Idol project that you should 1000% check out next. 6 songs, members are paired up so their music videos tell 3 gay little short stories. All the songs are so different and they're all killer bops. And make sure u read the descriptions for those videos bc they have very thoughtful and emotional explanations.

Dora maar doesn't have a mv, but the choreography in the choreography video is amazing!! Also it pairs with their song Picassso. Nabi is a b side with no mv, but is so beautiful and relaxing!

as you may have figured out onlyoneof have a gay concept, which is HIGHLY unlikely within the kpop scene. they got a lot of backlash from people in korea, yet they did not care and continued to represent and show gay love stories. the members themselves take part in production and coming up with ideas for their mv's and make their own music ! they have shown immense support for the lgbt community and have been labeled a safe place for lgbt kpop fans. they literally fanboy and go crazy for their own romance scenes within the mv's which is so cute and amazing to see, member nine has even gone and asked if they could actually kiss lol he is so REAL for that tbh. i really love their concept and storylines you should most def check out their solo mv's that show more of the couples paired up within the band. they all released solo mv's with their romantic partners starting with yoojung's begin to kb's be free, junji be mine, rie because, mill beat and finally to sum up the storyline (so far) nine's beyond ! also : the one with the long hair is junji !! his hair is so AAA HE'S SO PRETTY.

they have no leader. sometimes, in official interviews in such, the oldest member, KB, says the greetings. Nine, the maknae, most of times takes the leader role too. he gives lots of moral support to the members and take the front in interviews. as recommendation, honestly i could rec you everything i would watch the reaction to it all, but if it's about the music videos, i think starting with the "underground idol project" is a good idea. it's their solo songs and the music videos tell 3 stories, so it's pretty cool. in the OOO channel, they have a playlist to all their music videos, so you could go along with it. also, they have AMAZING covers. like junji's "like crazy" by jimin, "money" by dawn, "7th sense" by nct u and so on. and, some fans favorites don't have an mv but have a performance video, like "dora maar" and "gaslighting". and super recommend both of those, they are total cultural reset.

the maknae Nine is the leader now :) they have done a BL called Bump up business which was based on a webtoon Nine and Mill the two youngest are the leads. Chrome arts is the original Japanese and Chorme hearts is the Korean version

It's sort of like a project where each of them put out a solo last year and all song titles have BE integrated somewhat in them. I really hope you'll check them out cuz they are amazing + the MVs integrate some sort of storylinr for each of the 3 pairings: - YOOJUNG's "Begin" & KB's "Be Free" (my pair 😩🤌🏻; yeah I know no one asked; plus Be Free is my absolute fave song of the series) - JUNJI's "Be Mine" & RIE's "Because" -MILL's "Beat" & NINE's "Beyond" Can't wait for you to check out more of their stuff. I was giggling because as she was talking about the libidO mv i was looking at the LibidO guilty pleasure ver and the thumbnail of Junji and Rie kissing in the recommend😂😂. Their B-sides are also god tier. Listening to Tear of God and Ultimate Bliss was a religious experience. But on a more technical note OOO's choreography is ALWAYS telling a story and they often connect to create different imagery like in Skinz they raise and lower members in imagery on Jesus on the cross or like in dOra maar they literally told a whole story in the beggining of the song and had imagery of a member being 'chained' among some examples. They are all over each other all the time in the choreo be it in a sensual way or not. (You mentioned liking Rie's voice which is also my personal favorite in the group seconded by KB's and you would love the Be series like others mentioned since they really show off and shine there. My favorite of the series is Beyond and Be Mine bc i can't chose one😅)

@@EmberWishes that is an incredibly reasonable answer haha, chrome hearts hits hard af. also did you eventually figure out the difference between chrome arts and chrome hearts? chrome arts is a Japanese comeback and when they released the korean translation of the song they renamed it, for whatever reason. fun fact is that Nine (their maknae who's also involved in the production from time to time) did the translation from Japanese to korean and they didn't change any of his lyrics. He was awkwardly proud about it, haha.

@@EmberWishes 100% Begin and Be Free are my favorites from that, I do love stuff they've done before it like Sage and Angel too. The Be series are all solo tracks, but they're all playing couples so the songs come in pairs. It's perfect Pride month content! As a gay person myself, when they started it with libido I was like "I'm glad they're doing this, it could be very meaningful to the younger queer kids, I don't need it myself" but as it went on it meant much more to me than I expected it to.
