This is my favourite season of Big Brother Canada. Demetres was the most dominant and accomplished competitor that season and Ika was the strategic psychic. Whatever ika said goes. She ran the house that whole season. If ika said “you’re going home!” You better start packing. And she was never wrong. When Ika left Dems game crumbled. That’s a couple in love right there.

Man this brings back memories for me when I watched your love story develop in real time on BBCAN5. Yes y'all were like glue most days! LOL! For me the moment when I felt Demetres feelings for Ika went beyond smitten was the day of the slop chips and I think your first real argument. I just remembered the hurt and embarrassment on Ika's face and then the realization on Dem's face knowing he really effed up with the joke which turned to looking scared that he may have screwed up so bad Ika wouldn't forgive him. I can't remember how long it took for Ika to forgive Dem but I just remember feeling so bad that my reason for watching that season weren't talking! But yes that was when Dem was in deep! For Ika it was slower. Her feelings developed as the days went on until endearments started naturally slipping out before she could help herself. I loved watching the trust and loyalty build between Ika and Dem. And it wasn't just your love story but how you kicked ass and dominated as this power couple, Dem winning so many comps that I believe you still hold the record on the number of wins for both BB CAN & USA. Combined with Ika's social game y'all were so dang entertaining! And moment of truth: it was because of what I saw on both the show and live feeds that when y'all initially came out with your KZbin channel that I subscribed immediately so that I could follow your love story. This was so beautiful. I discovered you guys on KZbin first during lockdown and then of course had to find every big brother Canada KZbin clip I could find of your love story.
