It is not about being cool with Oromos it is about preserving our culture and protecting from cultural theft like y’all claim on the internet. If you have your own culture why do u need to claim others culture. Gatekeeping is necessary the minute y’all decided to wear every single pieces of Somali cultural attires like Alindi and Shaash even tried to imitate our custom and traditions such as Shaash Saar and umul bax.

Similar and Identical are two very different things. I think it’s really disrespectful to partake in people’s culture then try to invalidate their concerns by saying your culture is similar when in all honesty you’re taking peoples cultures and mixing it together. Mixing the attires of two different cultures will not make it Oromo. You also made inaccurate statements about the origins of Harari and Somali cultural attires, hence the invalidation.
@w.83293 жыл бұрын
What’s the inaccuracy? Because she literally got all their fabrics from india so if harari scarf looks Indian that’s not her issue🤣😏 the only thing she took is the headpiece which is normal living together. Everything else is Oromo head to toe. We all know y’all be rocking Indian clutches it’s hilarious

@@w.8329 Stating false information won’t change the fact that your people don’t like their culture and prefer the attires and accessories of others over their own. When you’re told you can’t claim other peoples attires as Oromo, you start lying about their culture and looking for excuses. The bride was not wearing your sadeeta at all. The people were dressed in Somali attire/accessories, along with Harari scarves and accessories. Say what you will ab those cultures but one thing we know for sure, nothing Oromo looks anything like it.

Why can't some of y'all just keep it at a simple mashallah?? some of y'all doing too much.. We get it you suffer from superiority complex. The bride was clearly wearing saddetta and so were the bridesmaids. No Somali has ever worn this type of customized saddetta pls.... And qarma is both Oromo and Harari headpiece.
