Butch! I just want you to know how much your work meant to me as a kid growing up in a not-so-great environment. Danny Phantom was one of my favorite cartoons and the theme song would immediately make me feel so much better no matter how upset I was. Same goes for "Shiny Teeth and Me". I still listen to it now and it gets me dancing every time. Wishing you the best!

Butch, I totally understand your frustration with "Yo," vs. "Young." I was in my 20s when I first heard the song and saw my first episode, so I heard (and felt) that he was "Young Danny Fenton, he was just fourteen..." As a twenty-something, a teenager was definitely young, in my perspective. I was completely prepared to hear it that way, which was correct. Unfortunately, people go with what they hear. The vibe kids pick up... It's weird for people Danny's age to think of Danny as "young," as "young" is always five years younger than you, and old is always fifteen years older than you. So... Even though you and I (and anyone who has heard you rail about it) know that the written and rapped word is "Young," I understand the misheard lyric, and I understand their insistence in keeping to it.
