I know this comment's late, but the part in the lyrics where it says, "Lisa, can you teach me Japanese.." She actually is replying in Japanese by saying, "はい, はい" which means "yes, yes", rather than her saying the English word, "Hi." These lyrics are also Lisa talking about racism, because of the common assumption that all Asian people are either Japanese, Korean, or Chinese, whereas Lisa is Thai. Thank you for reacting!! :))

@CowsRdumb blinks mostly loved it, except the jendogs of course, who didn't like it even before it came out. Most everyone else loved it, that is why it passed Kendrick Lamar and Ariane Grande in being the fastest mv to 100m views in the world this year...and smashed many other records. It is clearly a banger...but always going to be a few grumpy haters.

@@David-wm5lc but it's not always hating when you don't like a song. I'm army but there is a lot of BTS songs I don't like. Everything isn't a conspiracy. And ofc Lisa views will surpass other people because she is one of the biggest artist in the world. With a large loyal fanbase. I'm just saying these fandom wars are too much. I only Stan BTS but I love all groups. I love Blackpink but I just didn't like this song

@CowsRdumb of course there will be a small % who don't like a big hit like Rockstar....but they are not the ones who are vocal about it. It is the haters who write essays about how it is bad.
