1:26 he was involved in a motor cycle crash when he was a trainee when he was working a part time delivery job which left him with long term damage to his shoulder. He has had treatments and physio therapy over the years but recently as he still suffers with a lot of pain from the injury, it was decided that it was necessary for him to have the surgery. I think this is pretty accurate but someone correct me if I’m wrong 💕

your pronounciation is not as bad as u think. They usually call each other jungkookshi, jiminshi, vshi... in an affectionate way. Thats why u may hear some "weird" pronounciation by them. Also, younger members call older members "hyung" which means "older brother" (also used to call older friends). Sometimes subtitles may translate "hyung" to, for example, "jin". This is because not everyone knows these korean terms and it might be confusing for some viewers (although every army knows this tbh). They also convine the word hyung with names, for instance "Jin hyung, suga hyung, namjoon hyung". In this case, Jungkook, the youngest (called maknae in korean) is the only member who is not called hyung by the others, the baby of the group!

BTS Run is such a fantastic show and you should definately react to more episdoes especially from the begining! concerning Jin's answer about the eraser there are comically big erasers that teachers sometimes carry to be funy I've had multiple teachers who has had one in the past....

This was a low budget episode, they have both types of episode, simple ones like this, usually when they're on tour, so is just them on the hotel room playing games like this. And high budget episodes, where they rant a place for it, there's VR game place episode, Scape Room episode, Movie set, Water Park, Amusement Park, a Mall (sponsored by Lotte Duty Free), a Gymnasium (sponsored by Fila), a Car store (sponsored by Hyundai)... I love both types 💜

BTS started doing this show because it's quite common in Korea for celebrities/other kpop groups to go on entertainment shows once in a while so that fans have more content to see of them and know their personalities better. Bts used to go on these shows once in a while but they stopped after having multiple experiences of not being treated that well (back when they weren't very popular). However they still wanted fans to be able to enjoy content of bts playing games and having fun so they release these episodes pretty regularly for us to enjoy! Based on what they've said I think they also just prefer doing RUN instead of entertainment shows because they get more of their own choices incorporated and they are close with most of the staff. Some things I also wanted to explain about this episode: lol pickled radish was just the food they gave as an example when explaining the rules, they showed that the actual food was kimchi jeon right before starting which is a form of Korean savory pancake that has kimchi in it! :) Also, when jhope said that you can replace the eraser I think he was talking about white-out. And don't worry about the pronunciation of Jungkook's name, it's just that they say the Korean pronunciation of it but the way you say it is still correct, just the western pronunciation. I often switch between the two even though I learned Korean for three years lolll Another thing, when jin said the eraser can be HUGE think he was talking about those supersize objects you sometimes see in stores like how you sometimes see giant gummy bears lolll. Final thing! just wanted to explain that when V was telling jhope the answer he was just singing the melody and lyrics that he caught on to but couldn't remember the title so he was asking jhope to tell him what the title was 😂

@@blah2225 I mean, I do think it's an exaggeration that nothing I said at all was true in the first paragraph. For example, I said that they started growing in popularity to the point that they didn't need promotion as much but they wanted fans to still have content to watch of them. which is true. Of course they are grown men that can handle themselves, but there were situations like the hamburger incident with jungkook and suga has even talked about him being cut out from scenes wen they were on weekly idol. They probably don't care about that shit anymore but it's just easier to do things the way the want this way. When they've been asked if they wanted to be on certain shows they've also always shown disinterest in doing them.

X Celeste has a whole video dedicated to their hardships. 1:22 SUGAS SHOULDER INJURY... When Suga was still a trainee (before debut), he was doing a part time delivery job in a motorcycle. Whilst doing this job he had a accident with the car and crushed. Unfortunately it left him with a chronic (long term) damage to his shoulder. As he was gonna soon debut in BTS in fears of being held back or not debuting he didn't tell anyone about it. He can be often seen rubbing his shoulder in some performances. So he got treatment and therapy for his shoulder for the past couple of years but recently its been too much and i think he said that 2/3 doctors his seen suggested for him to get permanent treatment or his pain wont go. So he decided to get the treatment. Due to this he couldn't be part of many performances/shows such as some RUN BTS eps. Currently his doing well. And as ARMYs we are all happy for him and hope he is healthy. (EDIT: If i said something incorrect or missed something please add a reply and correct me army. thanks.)

Ngl I'm glad u decided to watch these out of order, i did too. It's hilarious and so much fun. Some of my fave eps include: 102 & 103 - basically it's almost like a game of telephone cooking where they divide into groups and compete on how well they can cook a meal that's being explained to them through a walkie talkie. Or eps 87 & 88 high energy and competitive hide and seek/mafia game. Winner gets a prize and loser does a penalty like in all RUN episodes. The super competitive ones are always the funniest cos while they would each literally DIE for one another...they also wouldn't hesitate to betray & sell each other out for a chance to win a $5 coupon 😂

If you want episodes to watch, they’re all fantastic, but I’d suggest their newest episode and next weeks episode! It’s a 2 part episode (I believe it’ll only be 2 parts), run episodes are released every Tuesday except for when it’s taking breaks! So this weeks (ep. 131) will have part 2 on the coming Tuesday! It was incredibly funny and I can tell the second part will be too, lots of their episodes are 2-4 parters and those are always really fantastic episodes! Id says watch any of the newer ones to get a feel for how the show is and how they are in the present day + get used to how they look right now and then go back and do older ones or go back and do older ones now if you’d like, they’re equally as good! I’m sure people have more specific episodes they’re suggesting, my advice is just make sure you’re never accidentally watching part 2 follow on episode before the first one of course :]

The release date on these is really random and kind of all depends on their other schedules. Sometimes we’ll get one every 1-2 weeks. Sometimes there will be 3 months between episodes. It really depends. They’ve honestly done more than ever the past year because they couldn’t do so many other things and so had more free time as well as live streamed more that ever ( something they always did, but mostly to celebrate big things.) BTS have had vlogs and KZbin videos since even before their debut 8 years ago. They’ve always been really big into using social media to stay connected with fans. They actually have a couple other shows as well. Bon Voyage has and 8 episode season ever year and is their travel/vacation show. Basically they go on vacation with a limited budget and do some games and missions but mostly hang out and explore. They also have docu-series with seasons (and also feature movies) behind each of their world tours since 2016. These shows are REALLY good and insightful and all about BTS as people. Or rather inBon Voyge who they are as individuals and a real family, and in their docu-series who they are as musicians and global stars. But the great thing about Run BTS is it’s just them having fun and playing and being their hilarious and goofy selves! Guaranteed laughs and you reallyget to know personalities. Plus!! The other shows I mentioned you have to pay for or pay for KZbin Original and Run is free 🥰

suga was unfortunately hit by a car in his early trainee days at Big Hit, he was pretty much okay but suffered from a torn shoulder labrum. he didn’t tell the company about the accident in fear of being cut from the group so his injury went untreated which left him with with a high risk of future injury, because of all the dancing/high intensity movement they do with their bodies. over the years he’s tried to manage the pain with exercise, physical therapy and cortisone shots but he would often re-tear it and dislocate his shoulder while on tour. so after thinking about it a lot and with the recommendation from several doctors he decided to have surgery to get the tissue fixed! the surgery went well and he’s recovering now with physical therapy and rest :)

Kimchi jeon is a savory pancake with kimchi in it. It's a side dish or even a street food in Korea. They also have green onion pancakes or seafood ones. You typically dip pieces in a soy sause/sesame dip. I LOVE kimchi jeon!

Suga got into a accident before their debut, he was doing a part time job at the time delivering stuff on a bike and he was hit by a car and it messed up his shoulder. He did not tell the company or the other members at first, he told them he just fell down the stairs, he was afraid he would be kicked out of the group so he kept it secret. He just recently during 2021 finally got a surgery to help with his chronic pain he was living with for 7 years (imagine the pain he put up with during their performances with all the arm movements!!!). He was in recovery from the surgery in the time the filming of this episode of 'run bts' was being shot, he also missed a few performances in this time as well so if you ever react to some of them then you will know why.

the main seasoning used in Kimchi is Gochugaru(chili powder i.e. chili pepper).. so yea, there's pepper in Kimchi even those sold in U.S. supermarkets. The red color is from the chili powder basically.

About you asking ‘you play a game with an eraser?’ The answer is YES! We asians are creative and we create games that uses stuff we can find easily. Take the eraser as an example, i used to play it with my friends. The game is we have like a few erasers of our own and we flip them over our opponent’s erasers. Its basically like a game which you eliminate players by flipping your erasers on top of the opponent’s erasers.

Suga’s shoulder has been bothering him for a long time because of a motor accident. He just recently fixed his shoulder because he is getting closer to the Korean age of 30 which means he will have to go into mandatory military service soon.

My favorite episode is episode 33 of run BTS. I watched it several times and I am still laughing my .. off! I really think you would enjoy it to. Nice to see you two have a great time watching BTS. They are adorable.

A video series that i think you both might like to watch to learn more about BTS as a group is the documentary called the rise of bangtan witht the first chapter being chapter 1: we are bulletproof it's very well made and goes into great detail about all the behind the scense about bts and how they were created

I’m sure people have answered but before debut yoongi (suga) worked as a delivery driver, he was on his scooter (motorbike type thing?) when he was hit by a car, he says when he opened his eyes his head was inches away from the wheel, he crushed his shoulder in the accident and he tried to hide it from the company and the others as he thought he’d be fired so that lack of immediate help probably made the injury much worse, eventually he told them and they helped pay fot his uni or college i can’t remember and helped get him some treatment but it’s been like 10 years he’s been dealing with it and he mentioned how he’s have to get shots every one or two weeks in his arm to try and soothe the pain, you can see in some performances when he clutches his shoulder or forgoes moves due to pain / swapping the hand he holds the mic due to the pain. In i think November last year he decided he’d go forward with surgery so he had to miss some schedules but he’s back and doing well!! He said the physio was hard and painful but he worked through it, jimin mentioned visiting him whilst he was doing physio and mentioned how sweaty and stuff he was from how exhausting the physio was, he is mostly back to activities though!! I don’t think hes partaken in any choreo yet but I’m not surprised :’)

RUN BTS comes out on Tuesday (American time). You can watch all the episodes for free on vlive app and all of the more recent seasons for free on the weverse app (they started on vlive but when their own company opened the weverse app started putting the episodes on there as well so the first episodes are only on vlive but after that they are on both) There are also a lot people have edited and put on youtube like what you watched...from the funny moments video you watched I think you should watch episode 84 next (it was the one that reminded you of wipe out) or watch 83, 83 and 85 as they are all at the same lake/water park.. 83 is the one in the boat where he was losing his shoe etc. ep 33, and 41 are some of my favorites but again is part of sets that continued a few weeks. It might be easiest to just start at the beginning even though personally I don't like some of the earlier episodes as much as later ones but that is because BTS had just started the show and they didn't know what it was going to look like or be yet so they were trying to figure it out. ...there are so many good episodes it is hard to know what you should watch next....I guess you could also just wait until Tuesday and watch whatever it is that comes out as that is when the next episode airs.

Episode 23 - the puppy one, is probably one of the better ones for newbies. The only thing to note is it was right after Jin lost his family dog so he was feeling a bit down, so he wasn't as active as he usually is.

Yes you can play a game with erasers! I've played this in school, where you had two erasers, and it was a 1v1 competition of who can flip one eraser on top of the other's eraser, while taking turns. It's fun! Also, "Big Hint" was a pun made by the editors because their label company is "Big Hit"
