I don't see people commenting much on this, but I think the more you go reacting to these videos the better you get at analysis. You're making very good points and it's hearwarming how invested you are in understanding the artistery behind these maps and all the lore around it!

Oh hello!! I remember you reacting to my MAP like a year ago haha, I'm glad to see you watching it again :-) And to clear things up, while writing the script I didn't intend to hint at Scourge killing dogs to eat them, more like he's collecting dog remains as a "trophy" to add to his status. The more dog remains he showcases on his collar, the more strong and fierce he looks. And as he grew up as a "weak" cat, he now strives to climb up the social ranks by scaring those around him. I see the dog remains on his collar as devices that help him achieve this goal and to distance himself from the cats he deems "weak" I'm glad you like the art direction! I prefer to have more natural-looking and/or darker palettes in my stuff. It can also be seen from the parts that I drew, I usually go overboard with shading and fur details. All the other animators and artists are really talented as well, and everyone did a great job using the colors and designs to create this consistent project!

On Scourge and dogs: in his graphic novel and in the books we never see him actually cause any harm to dogs. His first tooth is one a very old dog lost and he tried to rip is collar with it and instead studded it, him having this tooth leads him to lying about killing a dog to some of the older scarier city cats and they ask him to prove it and he scares another dog into running away from him with his shadow. After that and killing another cat he uses his reputation to rise to power among the street cats. There's a lot of his life we have no idea what happens in it so considering how powerful of a fighter he becomes it is very likely he does learn to kill dogs. All his cats have collars studded with dog and cat teeth, and the rest of the teeth had to come from somewhere. Maybe Bloodclan learns how to hunt dogs in teams? Maybe Scourge really can take them down himself?
