Sakura Gakuin（さくら学院; meaning Cherry Blossom Academy) is a Japanese idol group created in April of 2010 with 8 members. They are female elementary school students and middle school students selected from Amuse Kids with a theme of school life - including club activities. Thank you for reacting to Sakura Gakuin Of the girls in this video, the most popular star out of them would be the tallest one, Ayaka Miyoshi, she is a Movie star and Super Model a very big star. The second big name is Airi Matsui, who would have much more name power in Japan than anyone within Babymetal, she is a model and has done a number of TV shows in Japan. Ayami Muto, was on her way to become a big idol star but got burnt out, she left Japan studied overseas and has returned somewhat recently and has put out a few singles, (kzbin.info/www/bejne/iZ2taIOVhKxpa5Y). Mariri Sugimoto left SG the same year Suzuka did however did not graduate, she left early to pursue her career in modelling which she still does. Raura Iida, she has only done small projects and is in theatre and musicals currently. Nene Sugisaki, before she even graduated from Sakura Gakuin said she wished to become a nurse someday, the last update given from the group was that she had successfully made it into nursing school. Hinata Sato, is far more well know name in Japan than all of Babymetal, she is a very popular voice actor was in Love Line, and Revue Starlight (kzbin.info/www/bejne/h4i2Zqxtq6mIfqc) ((The one with the bow and arrow)). Hana Taguchi, She has had a tough go of things for a bit after a steady job at a dinner theatre like cafe owned by Amuse Inc. She has found stable work recently doing small plays and musicals. Finally Rinon Isono after 5 years in SG she has focused on school and has only made 1 public video appearance during the Sakura Gakuin 2020 Xmas Special wishing the girls of the final year of Sakura Gakuin good luck. You shouldn't write off Sakura Gakuin, as Babymetal is so strongly attached to it, and Moa's wish was that more would find SG through Babymetal. I would suggest some of the songs that the Avengers Momoko and Kano are in, as newer Sakura Gakuin is far more professional and overall talented. Yui and Moa are always the shortest ones. The early "classes" of SG (When Su was there and later just Yui and Moa) were super talented. There are hours and hours of pre-Babymetal stuff. Look for a very tiny Yui doing commercials.

SG formed (I think?) in March or April 2010, the sub-units (including BABYMETAL, or the heavy music club) were formed shortly after (I think Mini Patti existed before SG and was merged in as the cooking club with its original 3 members), so they were all part of SG as a whole. In 2012 BABYMETAL, although still a sub-unit of SG, started doing their own solo shows and appeared at a festival or two outside of SG, so they were doing those and doing their SG things at the same time. In 2013 Su was 15 and graduated from SG and BABYMETAL separated from SG and went with her. Yui and Moa continued to work and perform with both SG and BABYMETAL until they also graduated 2 years later in 2015. The two smallest ones here were Moa and Yui (you spotted Moa, I don't think you realised or you were not quite sure Yui was Yui). Also in there was Su's friend Ayami from Karen Girl's. Su was only ever in BABYMETAL when they were a sub-unit, so it is that or the full group songs etc for her. Yui and Moa were also in Twinklestars (the baton club) and featured as the second generation (having taken over from the original trio) of the sub-unit Mini Patti (cooking club) with one other girl (Hana), so look for 'Miracle Hamburger' by them.

As you may remember from the Unhelpful Guide, Sakura Gakuin is an Idol group that has several different sub units (clubs). Babymetal was the heavy metal club, but they also performed as one large group, like in this video. Babymetal broke away from Sakura Gakuin and became an independent group after a few years. Interesting..first I've seen of this full Sakura Gakuin group. I knew Su, Moa, and Yui all started in Idol school in this band but never seen it. In early Sakura Gakuin you can always identify Su because she's overly committed to her dance moves, and Yui and Moa are the smallest...but don't tell Moa that. Sakura Gakuin exists to develop talents of the girls and to give them experience in entertainment. It's the best talent Amuse has. So at their age their are some of the most talents girls in Japan in entertainment. It's both a school themes group and a teaching tool. Sakura Gakuin has sub-groups, 'extracurricular school activities'. Like baton club, cooking club, newspaper club and heavy music club (they are all little music groups with their own songs). Sakura Gakuin teaches them about not just singing, dancing, but hosting and doing interviews, modeling, photo shoots, acting, etc. In part to also see if the girls have undiscovered talents. Not all continue in entertainment, but those that do have a good career at the least and a bunch of them are famous in Japan or even outside (Babymetal being the best example of that). This wasn't before they became Babymetal. This is simultaneous. SG got almost nothing done from April 2010 to November when Yui and Moa finally got called in. Almost everything from the first year was practiced and recorded from November thru December of 2010. The girls were overworked to the point of exhaustion, especially Moa and Yui. Moa put ther foot down and that never happened again.

🌸 🏫 The best way to learn how to pronounce "Sakura Gakuin" is to listen to the song 'Message'. Right around here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gorZh4aVdpWspq8m they repeat the name a few times. Sakura Gakuin started in April 2010 with eight official members. Yui and Moa "transferred in" shortly afterwards in August. Although really, they had been training and practicing with the whole group from the beginning. Looking back, they were happy to have started the "transfer-in" tradition. By the time of this video, they had added two more members, Hana and Rinon, which brought Sakura Gakuin up to twelve for the first time. Verishuvi (or berishubi) is a nonsense do-wop word that was used in some Japanese Jazz songs. After they recorded the song, Sakura Gakuin members started using the expression "very shoovy" to mean something that's cool or interesting. : ) Besides BABYMETAL, both Yui and Moa were first generation members of the Twinklestars (baton club) sub-unit. They were also second generation members of Mini-Pati (The Cooking Club sub-unit). BABYMETAL (The Heavy Music Club) was Su's only sub-unit, although of course as lead singer she had the most to practice.

They're most of the time at the front then Yui's chubby cheeks and Moa's dimples will be easy to spot😊. Su have a unique voice that you can easily recognize that it was her singing. When you said “awww” right at the beginning- you’d spotted Yui. In fact every “awww” you make, it’s her on screen. Yes you spotted Moa and Su correctly. Basically, Moa and Yui are the smallest members of Sakura Gakuin (Moa tells us she is NOT small though), so they’re easy to spot, even if you don’t recognise them. You mention bullies, and yes there are bully storylines in Sakura Gakuin, and one of Babymetal’s songs “IDZ”, or “Ijime Dame Zettai” literally means “no more bullying forever”.
