jangmi queen woozi is not up there with the powerhouses. while he is talented, his voice is soft and lacks the power to be considered powerhouse. he’s an amazing vocalist, just not up there with singers like seokmin, seungkwan and others like exo’s baekhyun and jongdae and vixx’s jaehwan and taekwoon for example

while maybe in kpop, skilled vocals = only power vocals, in terms of singing skills woozi is definitely one of the best. his range is limited but his fine control over his voice is amazing. and control is just as important in singing as the things you listed.

I think what threw me off initially was that it wasn't happy/energetic Seventeen, but this song has grown on me the more I listen to it. I think I now like it better than anything but Clap or Very Nice. Can't ever knock their choreo tho man. They're like a well oiled machine.

When you said you wouldn't have started kpop reactions without SVT, I was like "SVT has some serious power." They are definitely one of the gateway groups for new kpop fans. I listened to a couple of 2NE1 and Big Bang songs when I was in high school but I wasn't necessarily into kpop. I really got into it when my roommate in college told me and all my othe roommates to watch the 17 project. When I heard Adore U, I knew I was in for a ride. Now it's almost 3 years later and most of my music consists of k-pop/hip-hop/r&b
